Great 9mm Carbine. A little heavy but very easy to handle and shoot. Almost no recoil, my wife like’s it. Very satisfied.

The “FX9” is a really nice 9mm weapon. I have 3 of them in all lengths and love them all!! My favorite is the shortest one! Holds 30 rounds, fun weapon for sure!!

First time at the range with the FX9. I ran 100 rounds of various brand 9mm ammo through it and used the 33 round mag that came with it, genuine Glock mags and Promag Glock mags. The FX9 performed flawlessly. Not a single jam or misfeed. I installed a relatively inexpensive red dot sight and the accuracy and repeatability was excellent. The FX9 was also very easy to disassemble, clean, and lube.

Most accurate PCC I've shot. Unreal with pretty much any decent ammo. Buds delivered promptly as usual - always my go-to vendor. Never had an unreasonable issue with them!

This is a great PCC, so easy to shoot with the Glock Mags - especially with the 33 round Joy sticks. Added Sig Romeo 5 Red Dot and back up Magpul 247/248 sights, Magpul angled foregrip and it offers me a great modern rifle to shoot at the range. Highly recommend the FX9 and Buds service.

The FX9 is a competitive priced 9 mm carbine. This is a dependable shooter as long as you use genuine Glock magazines. I tried the after market SGM mags, and had numerous misfeeds and malfunctions. Its fun to shoot at the range.

Synopsis: Nice to handle, accurate and no blems. However, they do not seem to like the SGM mags shipped with the rifle from the factory. One star deducted from the review for that reason. Add'l details regarding the mag issue are discussed below.
Testing mags: Rifle arrives from the factory with a SGM 33rd mag (p/n SGMT9G33R). I cleaned rifle and loaded up mag. Had 5 Fail to Load out of first 16 tries. Two of the FTL's were when manually loading rounds. I had purchased add'l SGM 33rd mags of the same make/model from Buds when I ordered this rifle so I grabbed a new one of those... same poor results of FTL. I had also ordered 33rd Glocks from Buds. Loaded one of the new Glock mags and the rifle ate them without any problems. Load, bang, eject like clockwork. Afterwords tried the SGM again, still had same FTL problems. I moved that same SGM into a Ruger PC Carbine and the SGM fed without fail. The metal feed lips on both the SGM have some gap spread towards the bullet which the feed lips on the Glock mags don't exhibit. Don't know if that's the reason for the FTL issue, but it was something noticed.
Final View: It's a good rifle and I would not hesitate to buy another one. The mag issue is not an obstacle as long as you realize that SGM mags don't perform well with this rifle. I saw this issue mentioned by another reviewer so unsure why the factory wouldn't switch to a different mag that performs better and gives the buyer a better first experience with their product.

A:Hi Reinaldo and welcome. This is a Gen 2, Buds is using an old photo of a 1st Gen Carbine. Note: The manufacturer says to NOT use aluminum cased ammunition in the FX-9. Cheers and stay safe!See 3 more answers | -

A:Jake, yes sir, this takes standard Glock magazines so you can definitely get bigger magazines. Here's a link to a 50 round drum that will fit if interested........ https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/713087438/kci+usa+inc+magazine+for+glock+9mmSee 5 more answers | -

A:Chris, just about any choice of 1 or 2 point AR slings will work. You will need an M-LOK Rail Section to attach the sling to the Hand guard. The Stock has a built in sling slot. Details of how to install sling attachment on the hand guard here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjSAhucgLLc -

A:Michael, yes Sir. Any firearm with a barrel length of at least 16 inches and a "Shoulder Stock" is Federally classifies as a "Rifle. Shorter than a 16 inch barrel would be either a "Short Barreled Rifle" if it has a shoulder stock (NFA Firearm) of if it has a "Brace" or "Pistol Grip" would be classified as a "Pistol" or "Handgun". Example of a "Pistol" (with a Brace and not a Stock) = https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/42990/diamondback+db10pb13+db10+ar+pistol+semi-automatic+308+winchester%2f762+nato+13See 1 more answer | -
