As always, an XD functions flawlessly out of the box, no jams, very accurate, very sturdy, awsome .45. I like the option of the compact size magazine or the full size one, basically makes the gun more versatile, definatley you want the 5 inch barrel for a .45 acp round. fast shipping saved me about 30 dollars even after paying the FFL transfer fee at my local dealer....

Great pistol! Fired 400 plus rounds of all type of ammo, and always fired. One of the most accurate handguns i own. Wouldn't mind getting a XDM another great pistol made by Springfield.
