DROPS VARMINTS AND JAWS WITH EQUAL EFFICIENCY.

“You can cover five shots with a dime.” Tell your friends it’s genetics. Fact is, when it comes to precision, there’s no finer pedigree in the industry than Remington® varmint rifles. And with our Model 700™ SPS™ Varmint, staking claim to legendary accuracy is a more attainable feat than ever.

The Model 700™ SPS™ Varmint is capable of punching tiny groups straight out of the box because it’s built on the Model 700™ action, the most solid, dependable and trusted in existence.

Its 26" heavy contour barrel is perfectly matched to its high-velocity caliber offerings. Plus, the ergonomically designed black synthetic stock has a vented beavertail fore-end for enhanced grip, reduced weight and better heat dissipation.

And sharp predator eyes won’t spot the tough, non-reflective matte blued finish on the barrel and receiver. Other standard features include a hinged floorplate magazine, sling swivel studs, and a drilled and tapped receiver. The Model 700™ SPS™ Varmint is destined to leave a lasting impression on any varmint that crosses its line of sight.

  • Sling swivel studs included
  • 26" heavy-contour barrel

Thie transaction with Buds went very smoothly and quickly. i picked the gun up at my FFL and mounted a Nikon 3x9 x 40 on steel Leuopold rings. I have only tired it so far with 150 fmj ammo to sight it in. So far I am grouping about 1 inch at 100 yds. I expect some good handloads with 168 grain bullets will improve that greatly. The trigger is adjustable but when Adjust it I could not feel a great difference in pull weight. It is crisp with no take up. Overall I am pleased with the rifle and will continue to buy frim buds, I love the selection they have!

I was in search of a rifle for shooting out to 700 yards, and after plenty of research, I concluded that this was the one. First off, this is an extremely accurate rifle. The action is smooth, the trigger is great, and I have had no problem punching .5 MOA groups with Federal Gold Medal Match, 168gr and 175gr. My only complaint is the internal box magazine scratches my brass up. If I single feed, there is no issue. Besides that, it's been an excellent gun.

Excellent store and customer services. I bought the rifle on a Monday and by Friday i had the item shipped to my FFL dealer. Good price, fast shipping and excellent services. 1000% positive.

Best budget rifle for precision shooting--bar none. Bud's service was fantastic and prices can't be beat. Replaced the stock with an HS Precision and topped off with a Nightforce NXS. I have had the rifle over a year and it just keeps getting better. I am now getting just over 1/8" groups at 100 yds with Federal GMM 168 gr. Shoots 175 gr fine but groups better with 168. I consistently keep groups under 1/2" at 200 yds. Just a fantastic foundation to build on. Now that its broke in well, the action is like glass. Don't hesitate. This is a fantastic rifle for the money.

This rifle is EXTREMELY accurate. The day I broke it in , I was hitting pennies set up at 100 yards .

Very happy.... Out of the box the rifle looks great very well made with a 3 1/2 pound trigger pull. And buds is awesome as soon as I made my last payment I was picking it up from my ffl dealer....

My 700 SPS Varmint 308 has been great so far. I'm still shooting regular ammo thru it to break it in. Then I'm going to try Federal's 168gr and 175gr match grade ammo and go from there.

Great rifle. At this price the rifle is a steal. Grab them while you can.

I have had my rifle for over a year now and have had a chance to put it through its paces at the range. Rifle has almost 600 rds through it and I've only had 2 rds that would not let the bolt lock and they were both factory loads. I changed out the factory stock for a b&c light tactical stock and add a Harris bipod, swfa ss 12x42 scope, their 30 mm rings and a weaver tactical base. Recently added a Witt machine muzzle brake and a kinetic research group bolt lift kit. Went to the range 3 weeks ago and using hsm 168gr smk and right to bear ammo 168gr a-max I was able to get both to shoot .330 and .306 groups at 100 yards with wind gusts of 8-12 mph and .890 and .910 at 200 yards with wind gusts of 15-18 mph. This past weekend I was able to shoot roughly the same groupings as before but just slightly bigger. I also took some hand loads with me and using fgmm brass, cci primers, reloader 15 powder and 168gr smk I was shooting .980-1.023 groups at 200 yards with loads using 43.5 grains of powder. The other loads were charged under this and groups weren't as tight. All and all this is a great rifle.for anyone looking for a budget build as you cant do wrong with the rem 700 action and varmint barrel. I plan on going to the range next week with a few more loads to see if I can get this rifle at/under 1/2" moa at 200 yards.

Item just arrived, and I'm very pleased with the gun. No problems with picking it up, and Bud kept me informed on status of the gun during transport. Bud will be my first choice on next gun purchase..
