Pleased with this rifle. Was on the paper out of the box! I've used successfully hunting Whitetail and has maintained it's zero since the initial setup. Last year first shot of the season was in the bulls eye at 150 yards.............. Excellent for the price!

The purchase through Buds was flawless as they all have been. The quality of the Remington is another story. The fit and finish are what I expected from the budget price paid. But the issue is that the rounds will not feed correctly from the magaizine to the chamber without damaging the round. I even purchased another magazine thinking it was a poorly made mag. The same experience regardless of the magazine. The round has to be fed with my finger into the seat before locking the bolt. I will be sending this back to Remington.

I really like the looks and function of this rifle. It really is built to the quality you would expect from Remington. EXCEPTION: The only issue I have experienced with this rifle is that the trigger pull is REALLY stiff. This has a tendency to affect accuracy because of the pressure you have to put on the trigger can throw off your sight picture. I don't know if this factory setting is because of the trigger scandal Remington has been subject to, but it needs to be addressed by Remington. You should not have to take a new rifle to a gunsmith right after purchasing it to make it completely usable. It should come from the manufacturer that way.

Another great experience with Buds! Remington 770 arrive on time and was in perfect shape. Fire about half of a box of ammo through it yesterday and it was flawless. Camo pattern on stock was darker than I expected but it looks really great. Scope was a little off but dialed in fine with about 10 rounds. make sure you clean the rifle before shooting it. Bolt works smooth after cleaning.

First impressions: AWESOME! I've only had this gun for a day..

Update.. very good gun. Shoots straight after sighting in scope. Factor settings were 2in low 3in to the left @ 100yards.

I just received my Rem 770 scope combo .270 #85655. It showed up with a NO NAME scope!! Not the Bushnell it's advertised with on the website. Very disappointed with this purchase.

PROFESSIONAL FROM START TO FINISH, THIS WAS MY FIRST PURCHASE FROM BUDSGUNSHOP.COM. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT BUSINESS! GUN IS A GREAT BUY FOR A STARTER RIFLE, FOR MY USE IT'S EVERYTHING I EXPECTED! THE DISCRIMANATING SHOOTER & I HAVE SEVERAL COLLECTOR GUNS WILL PROBABLY FEEL OTHERWISE!

First off, this is the second firearm purchase I have made from buds and the service is unbeatable. Every firearm I get in the future will be from them, no question!

Ok, now about the Remington 270, model 770. I bought this gun about 3 weeks ago and just shot it yesterday. As you know, it comes bore-sighted right out of the box; which is great because it's already on the paper at 100yrds and you don't have to use up all those extra shells trying to sight it in. I shot remington 130 grain shells at 125yrds. On the first couple of shots, I was about 6 inches low, and an inch to the left. I adjusted up first, then to the right. All in all, it took me 8 shells to get it right. On the 8th shot, I was in the top right corner of the bulls eye at 125 yards! Which excites me so much when I think about deer season. I shot 10 more times, and all of my shots were in 1- 1 1/2 inch groups. This gun is suprisingly accurate and I cannot wait to shoot it again. I love the fact that its not too loud and that it doesn't hardly kick at all. The look of this gun is also a great feature. You have your stainless barrell, and camo stock, perfect for hanging tough in any weather! It was well worth the money, and Im ready for a full freezer ;)

I reccomend this gun to anyone wanting a quality deer rifle, escpecially anyone looking for the scope-rifle combo. If you buy from BUDS, you will not be dissapointed.
