The Remington 887 is a very simple and easy to maintenance shotgun. It absorbs more of the felt recoil than my 870. The only problem I had was that I had to send the shotgun back to Remington because it had trouble ejecting the spend cases of cheaper ammo.

Was exactly what I wanted. Fun gun to shoot at a great price. Next to my beretta 92fs it is my 2nd favorite.

Had a small issue which Remington took care, overall a nice shotgun that's fun to shoot.

Received shotgun yesterday. Cleaned and oiled. Worked action with dummy rounds. Smooth, little stiff. To be expected, new shotgun. Shot four rounds of skeet this morning. Action is smooth, no hangups, or misfires. Ejections were fine. Extremely pleased with the improvements on the tried and true 870. The large, front mounted slide release. Breaks down with no tools and twice as fast. Armor lokt coating is amazing. No worries about corrosion on this firearm. I expect this to function well in the field. Will know soon. Going dove hunting next weekend. In my case, this is an EXCELLENT firearm. My trusty 870 is officially handed down to my daughter.
