This is not my first handgun. I also own a Glock 26 (9mm), Sig Sauer P250 (.40 cal) and a Desert Eagle (.50 cal). I have to say this is prolly the best one that I own. Right out the box, I was super impressed with everything. I am in california, so mine came with 2 10rd mags, which is perfectly fine. There is nothing that I can complain about with this gun. Trigger is not a problem for me at all. I think my P250 has a long trigger pull also. I have put about 300 rds through my baby, without any FTF, misfires or failure to ejects. This is ultimately a great gun for your money. It took almost 3 days to receive my firearm at the FFL. Bud's over all customer service, 5 Stars, and the Firearm overall, 5 Stars. great gun, a MUST BUY!!!

First off, I want to say that the SW9SVE is a great Firearm for the price. I am a new Hand gun user and as my first Purchace this was for me the right choice. Now all i need is to test it out. As i have not yet fired it. But for my first home defense hand gun i feel it was a GREAT choice. Buds was great to deal with, just a few small problems, my end. Fast reliable service and everything went smoth. Because of this i Joined Buds V.I.P. program and have orderd all my accessarys from BUDS. Now i am ordering a Taurus 25mm and the price is even better.... Wow cant wait for my next new Hand gun.... smaller and better for my wife and i to have handy to protect our 2nd. ammendment right.... THank you TEAM BUD !!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say that for 300 bucks its a good gun but the only thing that i dont like is the triger since is heavy and too long you will not have them accuracy but its ok its a decent gun

Second gun order from Bud's and my first pistol. It shoots great and is easy to break down and clean. The long trigger pull takes about fifty rounds to get used to but a qualified gunsmith can fix that. All in all a good gun.

Buds should offer a different section for customer service reviews vs. firearms reviews.

First one shipped had a factory blemish so I had to return it. The replacement is great. I've got a .32, a .380 and now this 9mm. Trigger pull is long but REMEMBER the Sigma was designed as a transition gun for police offers switching from a revolver to a semi-auto. It was the first direct competitor with Glock and was designed with a revolver feeling trigger pull. It has no other safety feature other than the trigger mechanism and the length of pull. Once you get use to it, it is great. Right out of the box I could put all shots in a hand sized group (freehand, no bench) at 15 yards. In the real world that is great for a sub $300 auto that you've never shot before. Easy breakdown for cleaning. Very happy with the purchase. Would recommend to anyone new to a 9mm or who wants a gun that they can pack around and not worry about scratching, etc. Five stars for the pistol. ••••• (Five Stars)

What a great product and friendly staff, I could not be happier with my S&W Sigma SW9VE. Bud's fast shipping and perfect product, has made buying this entry level fire arm a breeze. It has been a pleasure to purchase from Bud's and it will keep me coming back for all my fire arm needs.

After searching the Internet for days for the perfect laser site, I found to be the finest and most reasonable product on the market. Not only did this company keep me from having a bulky extended rail system for the Sigma but the laser's are precision machined from 6061 extruded aluminum bar stock. The laser can been seen at 500 yards and is preset to 1/2" at 40 feet. These lasers have been accurized & inspected for quality & for easy adjustment, meaning: NO gunsmithing required. The average person can take this sight out of the package and not only install, with tools included, but accurately site in the laser within a matter of a few minutes. The product exceeded the estimated time of delivery and is legal and shipped to California.

If Bud's does not already know about this machinist, they should think about teaming up with him.. I'm just saying..

Finally got the gun on 04/11/11 and shot it on 04/15/11. After the third round fired in the first clip, the but plug right behind the magazine fell out. After the fifth round in the first clip, failure to feed, manually cycled the round. After the last round shot still in the first clip, the slide would not lock to the rear to let me know that the magazine is empty. This happened on every clip that I shot through it, which was only four, forty rounds total. Sending it back to Smith and Wesson to either get fixed or I want my money back.
