I purchased my S&W M&P 45 full size in 2015. It has been perfect and my favorite 45 caliber. I’ve never had a malfunction and I’ve used several types of ammo. I have over 4000 rounds through my M&P 45. It’s dead accurate and recoil is gentle for a 45 cal. I couldn’t have done better in my opinion.

This is my most favorite handgun. I own 2 of them. Reliable, very easy to shoot. The finish is solid, easy to clean. And the service you get from Bud's, well, it's second to none!

The original M&P 45 is a good pistol. The grip is not as a aggressive as the new 2.0 and that is what I prefer. The 3 grip options are included, nice. The trigger is a bit squishy and heavy but a new sear is easy to install. Handloads at 12 yards showed centered groups on a paper plate with the original sights. (1.0 inch) What else do you need? The .45 M&P went with a 10 round magazine and with the small grip installed is just easier to grip than the Glock 21. With everyone enthralled with the 2.0 version these units are getting way more affordable.

The full sized M&P 45acp is large and in charge. Even with the smallest of palm swells it' a handful for my fat little hands. However I've ran several brands of ammo through it and never a failure to feed or eject.
