These 9 round mags for the LC9 are CRAP! I am not speaking of the quality of the materials or the way they feed...I did not test them, just the fit, feel and the way the gun looks is terrible. It appears that Ruger took the existing steel body from the 7 round mag and added an extension with some kind of clip system that I have never seen before. When fully inserted there is a 1/8" gap between the bottom of the mag well and the mag bottom and the mag feels loose. I will be returning these to Bud's and will stick with the 7 round mag - 2 extra rounds are not worth making the gun look like it was cobbled together from spare parts. Bud's service was as always 100%. The only issue I would have is that the picture of the 9 round mag does not look anything like the real thing.
