I purchased this rifle many years ago, I am still impressed by it's performance and functionality. although I have modified some things, muzzle brake,Timney trigger, Magpul stock, nothing too severe. I am able to shoot sub MOA with the ammo it likes 155 gr. t0 168 gr. Hornandy, She's a keeper!

A real nice rifle. It’s better than the military AR 15 which I fired when I was on active duty. The gas piston is great all the way around.

This is a very solid well made rifle. Ruger quality really shines through. It is tight, smooth and very accurate. There is not a lot that I can say beyond that. This rifle is not inexpensive, but the design, function and overall quality make it a good value. Fire it, then clean it and you can hand it down to the next generation.

Bud's Gun Shop processed and shipped my order quickly and efficiently. The Rifle is great - I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but I've no doubt that the usual Ruger quality, development, testing, and manufacturing apply here. I own two Ruger firearms already and love them. This is my first AR-10 style rifle and can't wait get it dialed in and put some holes in paper. It's great that Ruger is finally including multiple magazines with many of their firearms now. This one includes three magazines, a couple of small picatinny rails, and forearm grips to help you get the rifle properly accessorized. The nylon carrying bag is a nice touch too. I was bummed to find that the rifle shipped with a Magpul pistol grip even though it was advertised as having a Hogue grip. I own a hogue grip on one of my pistols and really enjoy it. I like the finger grooves and would prefer a grip that was over-molded in rubber providing a "grippier" feeling. I sent Bud's an email about it over a week ago but still haven't heard back from them. Even though it wouldn't have stopped me from buying the rifle, Bud's should change the listing on their website to accurately reflect what furniture it actually ships with. I reached out to Ruger about the Hogue grip and was informed they still ship them that way from the factory so it's unclear why mine had the Magpul instead. Bud's, are you listening?

I love my new Ruger SR 762! This beefed up model of the SR 556 is truly a beast yet weighs only a little more than it's younger brother. Bud's Guns did a great job handling and filling my layaway order submitted in early May 2018 and shipped expeditiously to my FFL dealer. My only issue is in respect to my order was that Bud's didn't recognize my order as a "cash" transaction even though what I read in the fine print that it was to be considered as such. Upon contacting Bud's I was told that layaway transactions, as of April 2018 , was no longer considered a cash order and I was not eligible for the $50+ discount. Interesting that this policy change occurred less than a month before my order and was not posted as such as I read and ordered In early May 2018.
