The LC9sprovides slim, lightweight and compact personal protection with a blued steel slide, a high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame, aggressive checkering and an easily acquired 3-dot sight system. The LC9s fits all LC9 accessories and holsters and is just slightly larger (less than 1" in both height and length) than the Ruger LCP.

I eventually settled on the LC9s as my carry gun, and overall I am happy with my decision. It is a small pistol, but not so small that you feel like you can\'t control it in your hands. I think the pinky extension is needed on the magazine to make it more controllable.

The fit and finish is pretty good, but my magazine release button is rusting for some reason. I\'ve lubed it several times, but I think because I carry IWB and in summer it is right up against my skin, that perspiration has lead to rust. Maybe use a galvanized metal for the release next time?

It took me a while to get accurate with a single stack 9mm. They are not easy weapons to shoot. It takes practice. I like the ergonomics of the LC9s, and every edge and corner is rounded and designed for effective conceal carry. Well thought out.

My biggest gripe with this pistol is the sights. They are very small, low-profile white dots, and difficult for me to see, even in daylight. I think Ruger could have done a better job with that. I\'m considering adding a Crimson Trace unit to the trigger guard for rectify the shortcoming. I know this is not a 25 yard gun, and at self-defense distances the stock sights may be okay, but I want to make certain.

I did have to send this gun back to Ruger the first month I had it. I had some FTE problems that I believe stemmed from a magazine lip issue Ruger had on some of the early production ones. They took the gun in, worked on it, and sent me two new magazines all in about a week\'s time. Haven\'t had one problem since. Fantastic customer service and one of the reasons I buy products from Ruger.

The trigger is okay. Nothing great. It has a bit of take-up, and the reset seems a bit short to me, but you get used to it. All in all, I am happy with my LC9s, but there are some areas that need improving.

This a fun piece. I've probably put around 400 rds thru it so far with no FTF or FTE so i'm pretty happy about that. Pretty easy to carry using the 7 round mag and having a spare 9 round on me. I ended up putting a LaserMax green laser on it, and for's easier to use that to aim and shoot rather than upgrade the sights. If i'm in a bad situation it seems like it would be easier to use the laser to see exactly where i'm shooting rather than try to take the time to aim thru the sights, but that's just me. No regrets buying this and would not hesitate to do it again. I even got my better half the Ruger LCP 380 after she tried the 9mm and enjoyed it We rented a LCP 380 and she loved it. Perfect for her small hands. Good price for a good pistol

I really like this gun. It has a great trigger IMO. I was able to consistently shoot good groups with it. I only have 100 rounds through it, but it has been flawless. It's very thin and concealable, yet fun to shoot. I wish it came with more magazines, but for the price it's hard to beat. Now I have a gift idea to tell people!

I'm a couple boxes in and the gun is just what I expected. Trigger pull is much better than the LC9, crisp and much shorter. First 5 shots were a little wild, but then I pulled it right in and started shooting the small groups similar to my XDS. Ruger really needs to include an extra mag, but I knew that before I ordered it.

Thanks Bud's for great work..pricing, delivery and customer service. The LC9s arrived in perfect condition and on time. We ordered this to replace my SR9c which is compact but still bulkier than the LC9s.

What else can I say....I saved about $80 on this gun. I called my local gun store I work with, and they told me to buy it. Have not fired it yet and don't need to to know I got a great piece for an awesome price. Thank you buds for not being a price gouging dealer. Super happy with the purchase!!!

This is my 2nd purchase from buds. This gun is great. Easy to conceal, light weight, and has a great trigger. Couldn't find a lower price anywhere. It's always a pleasure to shop with BUDS.

Great little pistol for someone with small hands or someone that wants to carry concealed. Nice trigger out of the box and accurate.
