The P-09 is our full-size polymer offering, boasting an impressive 19+1 capacity in its flush-fitting magazine – unsurpassed by any other 9mm service pistol. Featuring the versatile Omega trigger system, the P-09 is shipped with decockers installed but can easily be converted to a manual safety with the supplied parts and instructions. Also included are small, medium and large backstraps that allow the user to customize the pistol’s grip to their hand while retaining the natural point of aim that CZ handguns are known for. With an integrated 1913 Picatinny rail, the P-09 is readily adaptable to low-light situations. The Omega DA/SA trigger provides crisp single action trigger break, while providing the safety of a DA first-pull option.

So I bought this pistol at Bud's gun shop got it on layaway and then about a week later paid it off and was shipped very quickly and I love this weapon. I never thought I'd like a pistol better than my duty weapon my Sig Sauer p226 and I always believe my sick to have the best trigger ever until I got this CZ p09 from Bud's gun shop. The standard magazine is 18 rounds and I bought a magazine which was 20 rounds and very happy with it.

This is a superior compact pistol at a great price. It has excellent balance, probably because of more weight than the competition in it's size. Internal construction looks sturdy, to say the least. It is accurate and has a trigger that is better than average for "out of the box"! My only complaint is the prominence of the magazine release - my left hand thumb sometimes causes a magazine disconnect. I wish there was a slight ridge to "protect" the mag release button, but I can probably rrsolve this problem with a dremel! The other controls on the frame are nicely recessed. The slide release is difficult to engage with one finger, but my habit has always been to rack the slide to return it into battery. The grip stippling/texture is a little sharp on the skin, but is not an issue for me. It comes with three magazines - do you other manufacturers hear this!? Overall, this is an under-appreciated firearm in the US, in my opinion. BUD'S service was prompt, as usual. FIVE STARS for price, overall design and performance!

I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this one... what a great pistol!! It looks big, but it's really not. Shorter than a 1911. Very comfortable in the hand, plenty of pistolgrip, yet the flush fitting 19rd mag makes the pistol easily concealable. And YES, 19RD FLUSH FITTING MAGS!! And it comes with two. Sights are accurate, but not nightsights, and so I replaced the front sight with a high viz trijicon. Smooth in double action, but much smoother in single, of course. My shot groupings were tight at 15 yrds out of the box. Smooth action, very little muzzle rise. I've used 115, and 124 grain solids and in defense loads (hollowpoints) without a single hiccup. Only a couple hundred rounds as of yet, but I'll update at 2000 rounds. Overall, I give this firearm 5 stars. I've owned many pistols, this is my first CZ... looks like it won't be my last. And thanks again Bud's, for the easy transfer and lightning fast shipping! Top shelf everytime.

Bud's was fast to ship to my FFL as usual. This is a BIG pistol, but not too heavy. Like all CZ pistols that I've ever had, it is super reliable, and shoots very well as you would expect from a pistol this size and quality. It is definitely a keeper, and I caught it at super low sale price. Shoots tiny groups, and comes with two 19 round magazines, what more could you ask.

Hey let me tell you about the CZp-09 I have shot several different hand guns but this one is right up there with the best don’t let the price fool you it has little recoil after one or two full clips and you get that feel for the gun I was hitting all head shots. And again buds is right on time they been true to their statement and standards. I like all that they offer.
