The weapon is a blast to shoot. It is very accurate. The scope it came with was functional, but not exactly what I wanted, so I have since replaced it with a Burris Fullfield II which is a very good scope. Overall, it is exactly what I hoped it would be - an accurate, relatively light, flat-shooting, light-kicking hunting and target shooting rifle. This gun makes me look good with the little groups it makes. The synthetic stock shrugged off the rough country it got dragged through on a southern Arizona Coues whitetail hunt. My scrawny 15yo daughter shot it, and the .243 showed why it is such a good choice - she'd have complained about a .30 caliber, but not this one! We love it.
