  Hi Roland and welcome. Yes Sir, the Taurus will handle Bear Loads no issue. I fire Buffalo Bore, Underwood and Doubletap heavy loads no issue. cheers and stay safe!

• Q: Will this Taurus 66B4 shoot 38 specials?

  Yes, the only thing I would say is to clean the cylinders before switching to .357 Magnum if you shoot a lot of .38 Special through it first. Since the .38 Special case is physically shorter it can build up carbon and gunk that makes it harder to extract the longer 357 case from a dirty gun.

  Bradley, depending on your physical size, yes it would. A good carry holster makes all the difference. There are however. smaller, lighter 357 Sig Semi-Auto's that are more concealable with higher round capacity to consider if you are open.

  David, this revolver does not Sir. You would need an earlier manufactured pistol as this batch comes with the "Matte Black" Finish.

• Q: I see several conflicting answers about this subject is this gun shiny blue or is it black parkerized. some of the reviews saying that the gun that they received is flat black in color but the advertisement says that it is a lustrous blue.

• Q: Does the front sight of the Taurus 66B4 M66 (blue) have the same red insert (if it is an insert) as the stainless (Taurus 66SS4 M66) version? And I've heard the matte stainless finish is harder to keep clean. Having no direct experience with the finish it sounds odd. Is it true?

• Q: I know some do not care for Taurus, but I've had good luck with their revolvers. I'm looking at this as a truck/boat revolver.
  Does anyone know if after-market grips (Wood) are readily available? For whatever reason I just do not care for rubberized grips.
  Also, can anyone verify over-all accuracy of the gun? My S&W are just tack drivers, granted, I know this isn't a S&W, but as long as it's more accurate than me, I'm happy.

  The accuracy will be no stranger to you compared to your Smith and Wessons. Taurus has come a long way in recent years in both finish quality and accuracy. They can't be beat for the price either.
