Decent little revolver for the price. Nice that it shoots common/cheap 9mm. Recoil is more than expected and it\'s not a gun you would want to shoot a few hundred rounds with at the range. Works for it\'s intended purpose of carrying for self defense. Had a little trouble getting the cylinder to index with aluminum cased ammo but shot brass cased just fine. Overall fit and finish match the price point.

This is my 3rd purchase from Bud's another flawless transaction. As far as the pistol goes, I have put about 200 rounds thru so far.the moon clips that come with the pistol are very flimsy so I purchased some aftermarket moon clips. This pistol is pretty dead on target at 10 yards out. I enjoy shooting the 905 just as much as my Sp101 357.

So far so good! This seems to be what I have come to expect from Taurus, and my very first stainless steel. Usually I go for the blues finish, but with the look and feel of this weapon I will go for stainless again. Havent fired yet but hopefully this evening.

Mine also has the rubber grips with the Taurus logo molded in rather than he small round logo. I fell in love with the gun when I fired the first shot at my local indoor range & hit the center of the bull's eye spot on. The gun just seems to settle into my hand & feels like it belongs there. I have fairly large hands & it feels like a perfect fit for me. Trigger pull is what you'd expect. Fit & finish is very good. Nice looking little carry gun. Recoil is not bad at all. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the well-known problem with the cheap "Stellar [moon] clips." Invest in a good set of TK Custom moon clips & the problem is solved. I just load up all my clips ahead of time & head for the range. It's like using speed loaders. You just have to buy the good clips. It's worth it. The spent cartridges eject smoothly, you just drop in another loaded clip & go. Takes a few seconds & your firing again. Beware of cheaper clips that say they fit but turn out they have to be filed to get them to fit. Just get the TKs & forget about it. Other than that, I absolutely LOVE this little revolver. It's so much fun to fire.

excellent fit and finish this model has the new style rubber one piece grips that has the Taurus logo embossed on them. not a big fan they are too squishy the grips shown in the picture are better I have those on a model 605 I called Taurus because I couldn't figure out how to remove them there is a roll pin in the bottom that holds them in and if you do it yourself and damage the pin or frame it voids the warranty Taurus says you have to send it in with new grips if you want them swapped out for this reason alone I give it 4 stars other than that the trigger ,lockup, and function rival my smith model 60 I bought it when it was $350 its worth every penny

I just received this revolver today. The gun is fantastic and is in perfect condition. I just wanted to post a quick review to let anyone who is interested in purchasing this revolver know that the grip pictured is not the grip that comes with the gun. The grip on the gun is actually way way way better than the one pictured. The actual grip on the gun is a bit longer and has a place on the end for your pinkie to rest on. It also has the Taurus logo designed into the grip. The grip is perfectly molded to fit fingers and has a top ridge for your thumb to rest on. I'm not sure if I got lucky and received an upgraded version or if Taurus has upgraded the grip. Looks awesome. I wish I could post a picture for I can not find this grip anywhere. I even checked Taurus s web site and could not find an example on any gun. Long story short I am over joyed with this gun. Can't wait to take it to the range. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Been wanting a 9mm revolver and this is the 3rd Taurus revolver and its good, fits the hand great, small and compact easy for canceled carry, yes the steller clips don't hold the rounds tight so you can not put in your pocket, plan to buy the after market ones. The ones it comes with are great for the range, load up 5 clips sit them on the table and its easy load and unload with out picking up brass, Try to buy American guns but every Taurus revolver I have bought have never had any problems. Might get the 40 or the 380 next.

I am not really in to revolvers, but I thought it would be good to have a wheel gun in a caliber that I reload. I have a Taurus .327 Fed Mag and the double-action trigger pull is HEAVY. With the M905, the trigger is actually pretty good in double action. Ran 50 rounds through it and no issues at all. I shot some pretty hot reloads and recoil was fine. I would absolutely recommend this gun to anyone that wants a 9mm revolver.

The cylinder fell off of it after the second time I took it to the range. This particular revolver has a screw that holds the cylinder in place. After a little further testing, I determined that this screw would loosen after firing a couple of rounds. I still have not gotten it back from Taurus yet, and I completely understand why they have a lifetime warranty on their firearms. The only reason I did not give it 1 out of 5 stars is because this flawed little firearm is also pretty accurate.
