• Q: Trying to find a 10 round magazine, but can't find any for PT840. 24/7, PT940, and PT100's appear to have them, but I don't know if any of these are compatible. Trying to ask Taurus, but I've been waiting for 45 mins so far for them to answer the phone :(

  Richard, I know for a fact the PT940, PT100 and 24/7 Mags do not fit the 840.

• Q: NJ is going to make 15 round magazines illegal, does anybody know if a 10 or fewer round magazine is available for at pt840b?

  Hi Richard, This will put you and other owners in a precarious position. There were some Taurus 10 round magazines that were imported from "Brazil". They are rare as hen's teeth but they do exist.   Yes, both are Dove Tailed. If you are looking to upgrade to Night Sights, The Millennium Series, the early 24/7's, and now the PT800 Series Pistols have the same Dovetail dimensions and are cross compatible.
