Beretta's Px4 Storm features an exclusive Beretta-designed locked breech with a rotating barrel system that reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. The chrome-lined barrel provides extreme corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning, and it also features a deeply-recessed combat muzzle crown to protect the rifling. The light yet durable frame employs modern thermoplastic technology through the use of technopolymer-reinforced fiberglass and features an integral Picatinny MIL-STD rail. The Px4 Storm has an ambidextrous safety/decocking lever and a reversible magazine release, and it may be configured with a small, medium, or large backstrap for individual fit (3 backstraps included). This firearm is awesome,it’s the best one I got and I have a few low recoil,accurate,and it feels great in my hands and I going to purchase the compact carry Px4 storm,I am glad buds had it,watched a video with Hickok 45 on the beretta Px4 storm and said I had to have it thanks buds.

This pistol is pretty awesome. It is very soft shooting in .40 caliber and very accurate. I assume the rotating barrel has something to do with the recoil being so negligible. The DA trigger is a tad on the long side (at least compared to most striker fired pistols, not compared to revolvers) but it is butter smooth. The SA trigger, of course, is a joy to shoot. The grip is a little on the smooth side, so I got an overgrip which works fine; I have to admit that I am the kind of guy who loves heavy stippling. (I wish all my pistols had grips like my M&P 2.0). I will likely get some talon grips for it or something in the future. I have been shooting this pistol almost exclusively lately, which should tell you how much fun it is to bring to the range. Mine came with night sights which was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure if that is standard on all models. My only complaint is with the slide mounted safety/decocker design. This is what everyone complains about and with good reason. Those wings are painful to grab onto and the only way to rack the slide comfortably is to slingshot, which isn't my preferred way of doing it, but it works just fine. I also would have preferred the G model instead of the F model which is decocker only, but I plan on modifying that in the very near future. I haven't had any reliability issues. It's fired every kind of factory ammo I have put through it with no problem. Buds service was--as always--quick and reliable. This is my fifth or sixth order with Buds with different FFLs and I have never had an issue.

I purchased this gun about 6 years ago from buds and recently bought and reviewed another so I figured it was time to review this one. I’m so happy with my px4 storm. It’s reliable; I haven’t had a misfire or jam in 6 years. It has a great weight to it and is easy to dial in, even with the recoil on the 40cal. Will probably end up with the compact version to carry in the future.

The hand gun is almost perfect, the only complaint is the flaired out safety switch. If your hand slips while loading and grazes them, it will hurt. Easily fixable by ordering the low profile switches that turn them to decockers instead of safety's. Thanks Buds for the awesome service and unbeatable price.

This was the first gun I ever bought and I absolutely loved it. The ergonomics, the rotating barrel, the aesthetics, it all works together really well in this pistol. I dont know why its so slept on/underrated. The only thing I wasnt 100% in love with was the width of the slide-mounted ambidexterous safety, but for me it wasnt a deal breaker. Overall a little big for concealed carry, but great for home defense and practice at the range/outdoors. I dont have this model any more but I just ordered a type G (decocker only, no safety) that I'm looking forward to picking up next week. These are awesome guns.

I really enjoy shooting this gun. There is a brand of 40 S&W ammo that won't chamber in my M&P, but the Beretta doesn't care, it shoots it just fine. I did have to change the sights due to the gun arriving with a defective sight to begin with. Based on web information during my research, I was expecting that anyway. This is a keeper for me!
