The lightweight black composite stock has sling swivel studs and is designed for quick and easy handling with a 13.75" length of pull. The Marksman adjustable trigger offers a user adjustable pull weight, between 3 and 5 pounds. The hammer-forged barrel has a stainless steel finish. It has a 10/22 style extended magazine release for smooth magazine removal, and a installed one-piece aluminum scope rail. Rifle itself is solid with a very smooth and light trigger pull, also very accurate with scope, the included 10 round rotary magazine did not hold and feed properly. I purchased a BX-15 and had no more magazine issues. Excellent varminator.

Buds gunshop is so easy to deal with. Firearm was exactly as expected. I have not shot it yet but the action was about on par with Savage.

This is a great gun!! Nice that the magazine also works in the 22 magnum so its nice to be able to swap back and forth. Very well made and super reliable so far!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice 17hmr bolt rifle!👍🏻😀🇺🇸

Great gun great quality as to expect with ruger. Added a Nikon scope and am hitting bulls eye at a hundred yards.

Gun came missing the flat comb butt stock. It was ok cause I needed the high comb. Called Ruger and missing extra stock was there in 3 days.(free). Hornady 17 grain ammo only shot inch and half to inch and three quarter groups. Shot some CCI 16 grain lead free, which shot 3 inch’s left from the Hornady but was a three quarter inch group. Couldn’ believe the results so I. shot some more groups with the same results. Tried some CCI 17 grain hollow points which were better than the Hornady but twice the size of the lead free. Will try some Hornady 20 grain next to check group size. All groups were shot off the bench at 100 yards. Gun was purchased to protect farm garden from jackrabbits. Theory have destroyed the garden last year. Rabbits beware!!

Totally satisfied, great service from Bud's Gun Shop, couldn't find this model 8353 Ruger anywhere. I was told by a couple retail gun stores it was on back order and I would probably have to wait a year or so before it would become available. Bud's had 10 of them in stock, I paid for it on line and they shipped it to my dealer, very satisfied with the gun and the service. Patrick E Phillips
