this revolver(rugar 454 ) shoots well but I am dis appointed in the finish as there is file mark on it that quite noticeable youper63

Finally was able to score one of these. Have not shot it yet, but it's a Ruger, and that's that.

This thing is a beast. Built like a tank with a lot of attention features needed to handle the .454 Casull cartridge. Recoil is significant but quite manageable with a bit of practice. The option of Colt .45 ammo makes a long range session much more economical. Accurate enough that the large holes in the target usually tough each other. About as much firepower as you can get in a handgun that fits in a holster rather than requiring a sling. Looking forward to some hog hunting this summer. Can’t recommend Bud’s enough. Great prices, Fair trades and Excellent customer service.

Beautiful revolver! Be prepared for heavy recoil! Not unmanageable though. Buds had super fast shipping as always! 5 star!

The fit and finish and tolerances are superb. The recoil is very manageable and I can see myself taking a whitetail with this gun next season.

I have had this gun for a few weeks now. It has a clean trigger break and the recoil of the 454 is manageable with the Bisley grip. The sights are okay but I plan on using something else. I have seen these guns with a tsob mount from jd Jones and that's what I'm gonna go with. This is a beautiful gun and I would definitely recommend this to someone in the big bore pistol market.
