This gun uses the glock style magazines... g19, g17, and the "extendo" mags all work in this.

My go-to subgun. Light and handy, very reliable. Mine prefers 115gr ammo out of the box, but the tuning kit (separate purchase) makes it more than worthy enough to handle 124 or 147 suppressed. Had a SIG MPX and traded it in to get this one. No regrets. I love having Buds in Lexington - it made that whole process easy and fast.

This is a thriller. One of my favorite out of my collection. Good and accurate. I don't even use my red dot for it...my groupings, at 50yds with iron sights... are bottle cap close!!! A must own. Although it did not take to Winchester ammunition well(white/red box) but everything else is GO!

I have been looking for a weapon of this class for well over a year. I finally found the right combo of high quality and reasonable cost. I am completely satisfied the CMMG is exceptionally well made, and functions beautifully. I have not tried it with after market mags, so I cannot confirm its functioning with other than factory Glock mags. Frankly, if one pays over $1100 for a weapon, using inexpensive (and therefore questionable) mags is a little silly. Bud’s did their normal superior job. Completely satisfied.

All I can say is, "Outstanding!!". The CMMG Guard is my new favorite gun. The only problem with the the Guard is when my buddies show up at the range when I'm shooting it, everyone wants to shoot the 9mm Guard. So that means less range time for me! Two of my buddies already bought their own because they say I don't like to share. DUH, exactly, this is my guard and I love it. Enough about that, what do I love about it? First, fit and finish of this firearm is spot on, excellent workmanship. I got the Burnt Bronze and the coating is flawless. Second, the Guard ran without a problem with all types of ammo including cheaper bulk ammo. Third, this thing is on the money. We tore the 10X ring out at 25-50 yards with Magpul MBUS sights. Then I attached a SIG Romeo 5 XDR red dot, this gun is a tack driver. Fun, fun, fun, fun!!!! On a new gun I oil it up, fire 3 rounds, swab the barrel with an oil patch, inspect gun. Fire 3-5 more rounds, swab the barrel again, check all moving parts. Run about 10-15, swab again and then deplete ammo supply!!! BEWARE, shooting of the Guard will cause pain to your face from excessive smiling and ammo bill to increase.

The CMMG guard 9 mm arrived very quickly at my local dealer and I was very eager to go pick this up and have a good time unfortunately from the very beginning it would not lock back plus up to this date which is over two weeks of from when I picked up the AR 15 it has failed to go through a whole magazine without jamming the spent casing from what I understand is there is a performance kit with weights to fine-tune this pistol which I was not told I needed this kit in order for this pistol to function either by buns gun shop or CMMG. After contacting CMM G they sent me the parts that they said I needed to make the gun function which it has not. So After Christmas I will send the weapon back to CMMG and they said that they will repair it whatever the problem is.
