I bought this CVA Scout V2 in 243 caliber last year for Christmas and put a Burris pistol scope on it. At the range with a gun rest this gun is awesome. Once sighted in, I was placing 5 shots touching each other at 50 yards and 3 at 75 yards. Excellent shooting pistol. Yes there is felt recoil but then you expect that with a pistol shooting a rifle cartridge. Now in real world action, the gun is excellent from a rest but the Burris scope was a poor choice for this pistol. There is no field of view to see anything other than a very small area around the target and it takes a bit to acquire a sight picture. Don’t get me wrong, the gun and scope are both very nice and at a range with a rest it is a tack driver but I do not recommend the Burris 2-7 for this gun for real world hunting.

I fired the gun this week after adding a scope to it. The .243 is a handful when it goes bang. It took 8 shots to put it in the 10 ring but from there out, it kept the shots touching each other at 50 yards. As soon as I can put a better scope on it I will be trying at 100 yards. So far, so good! Boot

This is my go to white tail gun for 100yards or less I would not hesitate to shoot farther if I had a steady rest and clear shot extremely accurate and easy to carry

This gun shoots as good as a rifle at 100 yards. A bargain at any price. 5 Stars.

Love the threaded barrel. Handgrip could be better but it's been a great pistol to shoot. The barrel is nearly long as some rifle barrels which lends to greater precision than most pistols.
