Does anyone know of a company who makes a custom holster for the Remington 1911 R1 Recon Commander Double stack .45 acp? I need an AIWB light-bearing holster and an OWB light-bearing holster. The light I will be using is the Surefire X300 Ultra-B. Also, I need the AIWB holster to have a claw and wedge if possible. Can anyone provide any suggestions or direction on this?

Hi Marcus, I don't know of this configuration off hand. I would recommend calling some holster manufacturers to first see if something that meets your needs already exists. C3 Tactical Solutions, Alien Gear, Bravo Concealment and a host of others come to mind.

The Remington R1 Recon is one of the best combat pistols I’ve used. In 45 ACP, double stack, with the black PVD finish and night sights I could draw and fire all 15 rounds at 10 yards in the kill zone in 10 seconds. That is using 230 grain hardball ammo.
