I have this Compact model, but mine has a wooden stock. Anybody know who / if someone makes a synthetic short stock to fit this rifle ? Thanks.

Does this Ruger accept high capacity magazines (30, 50, 110) the same as other Ruger 10/22?

yes it will use the exact same magazines as the full size ruger 10/22

Jonathan, Yes the youth model is exactly the same as a normal 10/22 just shorter. Will take all accouterments for a 10/22 including any capacity magazine that fits and functions in a 10/22.

It uses the same mags as the regular rifles. I haven’t seen these used with drum mags but I’ve seen them with 10, 15, and 25 rounders. I don’t see why others wouldn’t work.

Put 400 Rounds of CCI mini-mags, zero hangups zero jams zero issues! CCI SubSonic, Minimags, and HPs work perfectly. (CCI stingers do not work with this, as the casing is slightly longer, its an ammo issue not the gun, always try out different ammo and see what works.)

Its a ruger 10/22! What else can l say? These are awesome! Love the short barrel. Its accurate and reliable! Not quite the same quality they once were but still very nice for the money these days. No regrets with this purchase. Excellent platform to build off of. Plenty on aftermarket stuff can be had fairly cheap about anywhere. Would buy this again in a second!

Buds was great, nice reliable little compact rifle. I am 6'2 and it's a little small for all day shooting but my fiance and daughter can actually shoot with it as they struggle with the size of the standard 10/22 stock.

Ordered this for my 9 yr. old Grandson for Christmas. Took it out yesterday 12-27-21 after a quick field strip & cleaning and ran her thru the paces at 25 yds.
Put 100 rounds thru it. Windage was perfect though shooting about an inch low, quick sight adjustment then he was off to the races. The fiber optic sights are a real nice feature on this rifle as is shorter LOP with 16' barrel. Made a great fit for him. What can you say- it's a Ruger 10-22. It just works. Yep & just like my new Cimarron 1866 Yellow Boy trapper, Buds had this in stock as well- Thank you Buds!
