Does this revolver have the new cattleman 2 style firing pin or the traditional fixed one?

This was an outstanding purchase as the fit and finish on this firearm is second to none. Dealing with Buds was a pleasurable experience. They processed my order quickly and sent it to my FFL dealer in a timely fashion. If you like the feel of the old west then this is a must to have in your collection. I would give it 5 stars.

Fit and finish are good, like most uberti revolvers. Trigger and hammer pull are considerably better than the standard smoke wagon or cattlemans. Internals are well timed and polished. The hand and bolt are timed perfect, no cylinder ring or over travel. The checked grips are executed nicely, but a little shallow. Frame and sights are typical 2nd gen pre war colt. I think the deluxe is worth the extra money.

The fit, finish, and feel of this deluxe version is absolutely top notch. Bar none the best trigger I have ever pulled on a handgun. I was really impressed with the case hardening colors as well. A lot more colorful than my Uberti 1873 lever gun. The blueing is also some of the nicest I've seen in a long time. It is not a pitch black blue, but a very deep glass like shadow of black/blue. This thing is just good old fun to shoot.

Totally positive - great communication. Taylors 4107DE Smoke Wagon Deluxe .357 4-3/4. Once FFL was received by Bud's, received the pistol three days later.
