This is a Beautiful piece. The workmanship is very good. When you pull it up you don't have to hunt for the sights. I love it.

Review of the Browning 1911-380 Single .380 ACP 4.25 8+1 Rosewood w/Gold Buckmark I - Blue/Black, 4.25" Ordered this gun and received it in about 8 days from my FFL. No issues upon my taking possession. Several weeks later took it to the indoor range and fired off close to 100 rounds. Very pleased with its shooting performance and accuracy which was quite good. Initially the gun was quite tight and resetting the slide was somewhat difficult. After the shooting was over for the day there was a noticeable improvement with no complaints. I personally like the 4.25 inch barrel length and of course minimal recoil. So my opinion on this gun is very good. Stylish, accurate and fun to shoot. Thought about a Walther PPK/s which cost slightly more but purchased the Browning. Maybe later I will get the Walther. After all owning one great gun doesn't keep you from buying another. Take Care and good shooting.

Browning did a nice job with this one. Fit and finish is top notch. Trigger breaks at 5 lbs. 200 rounds of fmj and 50 rounds of various hp's. 1 malfunction on the first magazine and none there after. Runs like a champ and the sights are well regulated.

My 1911-380 was purchased as a companion to my Browning 1911-22 Black Label. Hoping for the .380 version to be as faultless as the .22 version, I was sadly disappointed. Out of the box the gun was a functional nightmare with every type of malfunction you could think of. Failure to feed, failure to eject, stove piping, and ejecting live rounds along with a spent case. These issues occurred with three different brands of factory ammo. To their credit Browning did fix the problems after it being at their repair facility for six weeks. Upon returning they did not state what was done other than the obvious replacement of the two supplied clips. Thankfully the .380 now functions as it should with no issues to report after several hundred rounds fired.

Extremely pleased with this firearm. I've put over 500 rounds through it and had no problems at all. Very accurate and very comfortable for conceal carry. The fit and finish is outstanding.

Browning hit a home run with the 1911-380! Beautiful firearm and it shoots as well as it looks. With the 4.25" barrel, this little pistol has a long sight plane for a CC firearm and is very accurate. The only gripe I have is with the magazine safety feature. To unload a chambered round you're supposed to insert an empty mag to release the "safety" so you can rack the slide and eject the round (Psst, just press the mag release button and rack the slide). With one in the pipe and an 8 round mag (an another in your pocket) you have substantial firepower for defensive situations, and it won't pull your britches down using a quality OWB holster.

I bought this good looking gun after watching Hickok - 45's review of a plain all black ugly version. This gun shoots accurate at 7 yards and 10 yards, have shot 100 rounds through it with no issues at all, this gun came with two mag's and it shoots as good as it looks. THANKS BUD'S

Received my Browning 1911-380 this past Wednesday from my local FFL source. Time to processed the order was certainly reasonable even considering some of the surge and spikes in sales and shipping as a result of recent events. Once I received my firearm I examined it - inspected it - brand new in the box still wrapped in plastic. Took the Browning home - took it apart - wiped it down cleaned and lubricated. Went to the Range both Thursday and Friday . Have now shot 400 rounds through her and she performs perfectly. Nice crisp lite trigger short pull - feels like about 4 lbs. Very accurate - once I got used to the sights - I had no problems with tight groups at 25', 50' ... I might add, I'm getting up there in age and approaching 70, my upper body strength and hand gripping strength is not what it used to be. This weapon is very easy to handle and manage - recoil is minimal - and like I said before - with the 4.25" barrel and very clear visible sights very accurate. Browning makes a good product, not cheap, but that's ok when you get a quality machined product such as this. Thanx Guys, keep it up.... Mark C.
