great little pistol, shots straight, easily concealed, and a good looker, too bad Springfield Armory dropped it from their offerings.

Good little gun. What I don't like is it is single action and hard to cock and must be carried cocked with the safty on. I don't like carrying a cocked weapon. I bought it for its concealibility, for which it is great, but when testing, I find it is no more easily concealed than my Glock 43, which is a 9 mm, not a .380 like this gun.

Nice gun only problem is had a couple feed problems and a couple misfires. Cleaned the gun and it seemed better. I think it will go away once it gets broke in.

I looked forward to own a Springfield 911 .380, now that I have one. I struggled with the little gun, but it’s growing on me. Right after getting it. I took it to the range to break it in. I notice that the gun constantly jams. After tying different ammo, I discovered that .380 100 grams ammo works the best. I shot 100 rounds in it with no jams. It’s a good gun and if you like the look and fill of 1911 you would like the gun. I recommend to use 100-gram weight ammo for reliability.

I had some issues with this gun when I first received it. It was shooting 5-6 inches to the right. It wasn't realated to ammo (tried multiple brands and types) or the shooter (I could hit everything I aimed at with my Ruger LCP II). But more importantly the gun would not return to battery when loading the first round of a new magazine 40% or so of the time. You'd pull the trigger and...nothing. You could see the slide get soft the last 2mm or so of travel. A tap to the slide with the butt of your hand would correct it. But not something you want to have to do with your self defense gun (or any gun for that matter). After putting 300 or so rounds through it with no change I sent it back to Springfield for warranty work. Got it back in about two weeks and now it works perfectly. The also corrected the sights and the thing is very accurate now. I love this gun. Easy to pocket carry, shoots very well, much easier to handle than my LCP II (which I also really like). Gun has noticeably less recoil than competing micro .380's I've shot. Feels great in the hand and is fun to shoot. Comes with a 6 and extended 7 round mag, nice carry case, ambi safety which I like. And is just a beautiful gun. Do watch some YouTube videos on the gotcha's when breaking it down for cleaning. Don't push on the ejector to hard when reinstalling the slide. If you are aware it is no big deal and easily avoided. Kinda a pain to fix if you do it though. Sig p238 videos will show you how to fix it. Since the 911 is 90% the same gun and there is more history to the p238. SIg has the same gotcha's.
