The UPC of this pistol indicates it actually comes with an 8 round magazine, not a 7 round mag. Someone must have made a 'typo' when entering the data for the Buds catalog.

T R, yes Sir. This 9mm Pistol comes standard with an 8rd Flush Fit Magazine (perfect for carry). 9, 10 or higher capacity magazines will also work for home defense but will just extend past the hand grip.

8 round magazines should work fine if they are up to standard 1911 spec, they will just stick out the bottom of the grip as opposed to flush fit.

I like Kimbers and needless to say, I really like the Ultra CDP 9mm, this is my third one. I bought the first one in 2010 and another in 2015. They were the older model which is still for sale on Buds site (check out my old reviews). I was finally talked out of them by friends. I picked up the new one today at the range and put several rounds through it. It was just as I remembered. First it was very accurate and had what I thought was very light recoil. It made double and triple taps very controllable. It was a great range session, this pistol is a joy to shoot and also feels good in the hand and is a great looking pistol. This is a perfect carry pistol. Get one and enjoy it.
