What a beautiful gun! This has Bogart and Dillinger written all over it. Fantastic carry piece, and the Royal Blue adds an elegant touch to it. Very slim and fits the hand perfectly. A piece of history for sure.

A real diamond. Appearance, design and function all excellent. A five star firearm for sure. Don't want to hide it in my pocket but to show everyone. The box it came in is a completely different story. It is no better than a Cracker Jack box. Cheap cardboard and flimsy. The paper cover is colorful but that is it. It won't add anything to the price if you want to sell it. It kicked some but I'm 85 years old and could pass as a 90lb weakling. For accuracy all I can say is my eyes only let me spray and pray. I threw away my hearing aids long ago. I rather hear ping instead of boom.

This gun looks extremely sharp, especially in the royal blue. That being said if your looking for something fun to shoot and that's a little bit different this is it. The Colt 1903 is a piece of history and this re-manufactured version hits the nail on the head. I believe they only made 3500 of them so if your on the fence about it don't wait too long. This is also one of those guns that's an attention getter so be ready for that. Most people don't know what it is and those that do often want to check it out. It's just one of those guns that I doubt you will ever run into anyone else having when at the range. It is very fun to shoot.

I saw one of U.S. Armament's Colt-licensed 1903 Pocket Hammerless GOP pistols in my LGS. I knew I wanted to get one, because it really popped in that display case next to the tupperware mouse guns. However, I wasn't a big fan of the Parkerized finish, or even the blued finish. Then I saw on Bud's website that the pistol was also available in the "RB" ("Royal Blue") variation as well, for a little more money. I hoped that meant that the metal was super-polished prior to application of the bluing solution. I e-mailed U.S. Armament's project manager for the 1903 Pocket Hammerless GOP, and he indicated that yes, the "RB" designation meant that the metal was mirror polished before bluing, like the Python from Colt's days of yore. That sold me on the gun. And I ordered it from Bud's . I am glad that I did. The Royal Blue is the best finish on a pistol that I have ever owned (and I have owned far too many pistols - - just ask my checking account). The gun is beautiful. It feels great in the hand, and it disappears into pockets. Yes, it's true that a .32 ACP is not the gun to carry into a firefight. This is not an EDC weapon. But it will CERTAINLY do the job between the nightstand and the bedroom door. It also beats yelling for help then attempting to flee when checking the mailbox, or picking up the newspaper - - and it's easier to carry to end of the driveway than a Les Baer Monolith Heavyweight. Beware of rimlock if you want to shoot HP's out of it; rimlock is a an actual thing, for real. But the little pistol hums like a well-oiled machine with FMJ's, the hotter the better. The little pistol is easy to empty quickly, recoil is negligible, and it's accurate; more accurate, at least at short distances, than I am (that may constitute pretty faint praise, as I am not Ed McGivern). It is a little expensive, and there are better options for many purposes. But JEEZ it's nice, and I am very happy I bought it.
