Angstadt Arms UDP-9 Black Anodized 6" 9mm Pistol - Blue/Black, 6" Barrel, 17 Rounds

I received this item today and my only real complaint is the packaging from the manufacture. The gun is placed in a plastic bag and placed in a cardboard sleeve that is glued to the box. The sleeve came loose and the weapon was allowed to flop around in the box. Although the only real damage was the plastic bag, it's kinda annoying when paying this amount for a weapon and the manufacturer can’t spring for a little padding. Other than that, the weapon appears to be solid and I look forward to shooting it. Also, mine did come with the M-Lok for those that were curious.

Angstadt 9mm pistol is high quality firearm. It’s a real hoot to shoot. Biggest problem is I’m burning more ammo.

I purchased this gun as a gift for my wife. She always wants me to teach her to shoot but does not like any of my hand guns. The 40 cal and 45 I like are too violent for her. So, if she doesn't like them she is not going to practice with them and so has been relegated to shotgun home defense and she is not too enthusiastic about those either, although she does like the 20 ga pump fairly well. This was my attempt to find her a home defense weapon that she would enjoy shooting and would allow her to easily handle it, hit with it and so be able to join me at the range maybe twice a week. I put a shoulder brace on it, a top mounted light with pressure pad activation switch and an Aimpoint micro. I sighted in the Aimpoint and I think it is a blast to shoot. I can't imagine she will not love it, but you will have to wait until mid-June as that is her birthday when I will give it to her. If I can come back to this note, I will give you the up-date when she starts using it. But, I am very hopeful she will love it and shoot the hell out of any and all paper "bad guys" just like one of the boys.
