A tack driving machine with no failures or issues with first 500 rounds through it. CZ really set the bar high in the target pistol market with this gun!

I purchased the CZ Shadow 2 for shooting USPSA Production and 3 gun. The Shadow 2 is a very nice pistol and very accurate right out the box. Put 50 rounds through the pistol the day I got it. Shot from 3 to 25 yards and put all the rounds in an 6 inch circle. Not bad right out the box and no adjustments. I recommend the Shadow 2 to anyone who is interested in production. I will run the pistol locked and cocked for 3 gun.

What can I say about Buds? They are the best. I have purchased about a dozen guns and they are always shipped fast and delivered to my FFL quickly. The CZ Shadow 2 is truely amazing. I collect custom shop .45acp 1911's and the first time out, this CZ out shot them all. it just that accurate. No failures what so ever during a 200 round test. This is the first 9mm I have owned since the 80's. I was always able to shoot .45's better until now!

I just got back from the range and I have to say this is the best shooting gun I have ever shot ! Right out of the box its a beast of a gun , you cant go wrong its fantastic in every way. I would highly recommend Buds and the Shadow 2.

The CZ Shadow 2 was very well done. The trigger was excellent out of the box. I shoot completion, so I still made some mods. I switched out a couple springs and a pin, nothing else, not even polishing. Now the trigger is better than the custom triggers I had done by professional gunsmiths on my other competition guns. There is variability in the triggers, so yours may not work out as well as mine, but I'm sure it won't disappoint. The grip feels natural in my hand; the gun points like it should, which is important when you're shooting against the clock. I'm not sure if I like the fancy aluminum grips yet; I'll have to shoot it some more to see if I want to change them out. I thought the three position magazine release was just a gimmick, but I'm a believer now. I switched it to the middle position and it made a big difference in how easy it was to dump the magazine without losing my hand position. The rear sight was off center and it was a real bear to move it because of the triangular shape of the slide (not conducive to working with most sight movers). I wish CZ would just put in a sight that was adjustable for windage like everyone else that makes guns designed for competition. Overall, I'm very pleased and would recommend the CZ Shadow 2.

I picked up this product at Bud's a couple of weeks ago. As usual, the service from Bud's was excellent. The firearm was shipped to the store in Lexington and ready for pick up in two days. The CZ Shadow 2 is a great gun. I've put about 200 rounds through it to date and the only issue I noticed was a failure of the slide to lock back on an empty magazine on just the second magazine ever fired. No further issues since then. I purchased the gun for time at the range and it's great for that. Very accurate, long sight radius and little recoil. I can't recommend it enough.

Great firearm and very happy to get it. It shoots great and should serve me well for years to come. I was expecting black grips, but received grips similar in color to vey dark purple. I like them as it enhances the appearance. No real issues other than the time it took to ship. I ordered it on Tuesday night and resolved FFL by noon the next day. The firearm wasn’t delivered until Tuesday the next week. Granted the gun shop is closed on Mondays and it would have showed up by then. 5 to 6 days seems long, especially when it was advertised 2 to 3 days ... just saying.
