The Speed Scabbard(R) is designed to meet the needs of plainclothes professionals preferring a holster without a thumb break while still providing firearm retention. This is accomplished with precise molding and tension screw device on most models. Available in black or tan unlined leather. Belt slots are 1 3/4 wide. Some models with two belt slots and without tension device.

I am happy with this holster. The VP9 seems to be a popular gun, but I had a difficult time finding a suitable holster for it. I chose the black version, because my gun is black. I still wish I had chosen the tan one though, as it's a real beauty! Anyway, the deSantis Speed Scabbard looks good and performs well. It holds my gun snugly, which I consider positively. I have not messed with the adjustment screw.
