This rifle features a 16" free-float, melonite-coated, chrome moly barrel with an A2 flash hider. The forged 7075 T6 aluminum receiver has a T-marked A3 flattop. I had a lot of indecisive options. I wanted an affordable AR that also had quality.. I found it in the DB15 in .300BlkOut. This rifle out of the package was beautiful. I purchased the OD green.. lets get to business... The finish of this rifle is smooth... and it feels good. Oily hands will leave finger prints if your one of those neat freaks... I am... but at the same time its a rifle thats gonna get put through its paces. So I can live with it. The stock is great... when firing it was comfortable... the rail for the barrel i full lenght with the top picatiny and the sides and bottom key mod. Order accordingly. I will most likely upgread to MLOCK. But everything holds well on the factory system. The pistol grip is a bit small... its hollow in the inside and its got a rubber coating that didn’t take very long to degrade at the bottom during first shoot.... The rifle shoots smooth... Paired with a Nikon Bushmaster II 4x6 it tooknless then ten rounds to be dead on. I had 0 jams through 3 different round types at about 160rds I shot 125g Sig, MagTech and 123gPPU all fired well with little adjustment to the rifle and scope. Very good weapon and i would recommend DB to anyone

I absolutely love this gun, for the price I don’t think you could get a better gun, it is very well made and the finish is awesome. I just sighted it in this past weekend and with the right ammo it will shoot 1” groups at 115 yards. Tried Sig Elite 120 hunting ammo first and it was shooting 5-6” groups, I then tried Hornady 135gr FTX and was shooting 1” groups at 115 yards. So with the right ammo it is a shooter.

At first I was a bit skeptical. Never heard of the brand and this was going to be my first 300blk. As always Buds was awesome! As for fit and finish... fit was great but finish was not so. Not really bad but the upper was a flat finish and the lower was a semi gloss or satin finish. I ordered another upper from Diamondback so I could have a setup for 5.56 and that one came with the same finish as the lower. I don’t know maybe the people that do the QC don’t care about that? Other wise the weapon fires great! Over 500 rounds and not one issue. I am so impressed with brand that I bought there DB9 AR pistol.

Overall this an excellent firearm for the price. The only issue I have had was after a few magazines of firing at the range, the rail began sliding off the front of the barrel.. Probably my fault more ham the firearms because I didn’t think it would need to be tightened prior to firing. It shoots very tight groups though about an inch group just trying to sight it in with a vortex red dot sight and get on paper

couldn't be happier arrived at my FFL in quickly and was in perfect condition. I wasn't sure about the ODG but in person I'm glad I went with this option over black or FDE. it feels very solid and functions smooth as butter. even though the description is MOSTLY accurate it did come with an upgraded brake over the A2 flash hider and came with a different buttstock than the magpul one in the description, I have the same magpul stock on my other AR and it is in my opinion just as nice. the fit from the upper and lower feels as if its 1 piece and I cant hear any rattles or clinks when shaking it around of course with the pmag that comes with it not in the gun. I strongly feel like to get this quality you have to spend a lot more money when going with other options. I will say after I brought it home I did take a closer look to the finish which seems durable but it did have a couple small divits/dimples in the finish on the recievers. personally I don't care about that but thought id mention it in case somebody out there is more picky than I am. I'm not sure the weight of the trigger but it does feel on the heavy side compared to my other AR but still a nice trigger to say the least. and as always thanks to buds for phenomenal service!

I am exceptionally pleased with this Diamondback rifle. I believe strongly that you would need to spend at least double this price on most others to get this quality, making it a great value. Of the platforms I looked at for the 300 AAC Blackout, I would highly recommend this rifle as an entry point into this round. Fun to shoot, easy breakdown, all parts machined and coated to a very high standard. I would buy another Diamondback. I am a retired Special Operations Army officer and have put tens of thousands of rounds through M4/AR platforms. In most operational environments, particularly CQB, I wish I could have had this rifle and this round.
