Its heavy barrel. You can get the cash price with layaway if all the payments are made with check, money order, electronic checks, or cash. Its 20% down payment and 90days to pay it off.

You can pay for the gun with a mixture of cash and credit and you will get the cash price on the amount you pay with cash or e-checks the portion that you pay with credit card/debit card will have a 3% charge added.

Hi Justyn, this is the heavy barreled model. ----- The layaway plan is very simple to use. Just place your order online as you normally would, select checkout - select FFL and select 'LAYAWAY' as your payment option during checkout then select your payment method for the min 20% down.. Only New Firearms are eligible for this program. Upon receipt of your non refundable 20% deposit (personal check, bank check, money order or credit card), we will secure your firearms(s) from our inventory and activate your 90 day Layaway Plan. During the 90 Day Layaway period, you can either make several payments, or just make one final payment at the end of 90 days, at which time we will ship your firearm(s). UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A LAYAWAY BE HELD LONGER THAN 90 DAYS. If, after 90 days, we have not received payment in full, your Layaway Plan will automatically be canceled and any/all payments will NOT be refunded. As always, Bud's was great. Customer service and shipping. Now, about this rifle - OUTSTANDING!! I have owned rifles for deer hunting in the past and I cannot say any of them were a joy to shoot. They were a tool for hunting and usually pretty punishing to the shoulder. I bought a muzzle brake. because I have a bad right shoulder. I kid you not, with the weight and brake, this .308 recoils like a .223. The trigger was very light and crisp. I also love the Houge stock. Optics are bright and clear and unknown to me the scope has a lighted retical (sp). I did the 20 shot break in today and all I can say, this thing is just down right fun. My groups were solid, although out to 50 yards. Taking ot to the 250 yard range in a couple of weeks. If you have the money and are mulling this rifle over - get it as soon as it is back in stock. Worth every penny - Oh, and all this for less than $650. CRAZY!!

Absolutely love this gun! Took it out he other day and broke it in with 20 rounds. My son and I had a BLAST! The tripod made shooting from the bench a pleasure, the scope is wonderful and the accuracy is spot on. The mag is a nice add on as well. we will be enjoying the gun for years to come!!! What more can you ask for a great package for a great deal!!!!

I bought the Howa 1500 .308 bolt action. It came with a scope and the bipod. This was half the price of the savages, Remingtons, Tikkas etc... my first sight in at the range was just about 4 in the same hole at 100 yards. It is a fantastic weapon. This was a totally painless process. I was able to finding what I wanted and make the purchase. Delivery was quick, the pricing was great and the tracking and notifications were exact. I'll definitely buy another gun from here. Thank you Bud.
