It's a nice rifle. I am not as impressed with the magpul stock as others seem to be. However it's an improvement over the Hogue overmolded stock. There seems to be a lot of contradicting information about the included rail height. Some say 20 moa and others including a remington product specialist said 0 moa.
When I removed my rail to bed and torque it, the laser engraving on the underside showed that it was in fact an EGW brand, 20 moa rail.
In summary I am happy with the rifle. But there are other options in its price range that are solid contenders.

Great rifle , that as prescribed shoots accurate and is pleasant to shoot. As for Bud's service , top notch as like the previous weapons purchased from then.

I chose this rifle after careful review of many other .308 bolt-action models as this was my first precision rifle. You just can't beat remington's 700 model, and the magpul enhanced is exactly what I was looking for. The cheek pad is adjustable, the rubber recoil pad works very well, and the 10-round magazine is handy. The bipod was surprisingly well-made (I saw some bad reviews on the bipod included with the 700's) and the action is as smooth as butter. I mounted a vortex viper optic, and after using a bore-sight, it only took 2 rounds of three shots to zero, and the experience since has been great! I am looking forward to getting this to a longer range to see how it does. Would recommend! In addition, the team at Bud's was phenomenal. They walked me through my questions, had good suggestions on local dealers, and of course offered a large selection to choose from!

This is one of the best rifles I've bought in a while. It's super accurate and very smooth. It is a great value with all it comes with.
