Ruger Limited Edition 10/22 .22 LR, M1 Carbine Stock, 15rd Capacity - Blue/Black, 18.5" Barrel, 15+1 Rounds, Wood

It's a Ruger 10/22, but man what a Ruger 10/22. It looks exactly like an M1 Carbine, feels like an M1 Carbine, and shoots like an M1 Carbine. I added a carrying strap with oiler and a pouch for extra magazines. I just received a military style peep site and post front sight with side blades that I plan on installing. It will make the rifle perfect (although it already is perfect).

I bought this gun in the memory of my Grandfather who fault in WWI , Pearl Habor, he received several awards. He had to carry a M1 everyday. This gun came unfinished, I refinished it inserted a copy of his dog tags in the stock . Engraved a Purple Heart with my CNC machine stained the purple Heart then put a high gloss on entire rifle. For the price it’s really not a bad .22lr. Being able to put a red dot on it made it a favorite of everyone. A super easy gun to pick up and plink cans with, one of my favorites!

I have had this rifle for 6 months now. LOVE IT! Of course the Ruger 10/22 part is great. After 500 rounds, I needed to polish the bolt to keep it reliable, but that's par for the course on 10/22's. I like the sights very much. At first I thought about installing Tech Sights, but I kept these sights on, and it was right on the money at 50 yards from the factory. I like the stock too. Looks great, feels great, easy to shoulder and get a quick aim. I added a milspec sling and I couldn't be happier. Buds of course is great as always.

This rifle looks to be very nice and of normal Ruger quality. I purchased this because I liked the looks and design. I have yet to shoot the gun and very well may never do so.

This is not a poke at Bud's. Great people, great service and prices. This is however a major slam directed at Talos, and Ruger for partnering with these hacks.
My Talos M1 10/22 arrived new in the Box and I have to say this is a serious piece of junk. Very, very bad.
1. Hairline cracks (3 of them) in stock
2. Other parts of stock were "carved" and barely sanded to affix barrel band
3. Cheap sheet metal barrel band incompletely finished leaving dangerously sharp edges just waiting to cut your hand. Seriously, they rounded one side and skipped the other.
4. Stock belt sanded with BUTTPLATE ATTACHED leaving butt plate deformed.

I mean this is a real piece of work. I would never, ever consider anything from Talos again and given Ruger's affinity for trading fit and finish of late to lower their prices, I may be done with them as well. Yes, I understand that Talos is just a distributor of Ruger's products but Ruger sanctions these creations and bears a measure of the blame.
Fortunately, I have a replacement stock on the way but if that's what I had originally wanted I could have saved 79 bucks and just bought a regular 10/22.

Typical Ruger 10/22 quality. Great little 22 rifle reflects an iconic rifle in American military history. Handy, accurate for small game, varmints, or just plinking. Bud's service second to none, as usual.

Sorry, regretful purchase. Finish is Extremely rough-Not sanded well. Look elsewhere.
