very nice rifle. The fit and finish are superb. action is very smooth. Will post again after I had a chance to shoot it

Nice stock, the rest was awful. I sent the rifle back to Savage because it would not group with factory or handload ammo. Savage couldn't make it shoot either and agreed to send me a new 243win. as a replacement about 2/12 months later. Good delivery and service from Bud's.

Definitely a very well built gun. Put a 6 x 18 Crossfire on this and deadly accurate for the test fires so far at 100 and 200 yards.
