Savage 12LRPV 6mm BR 26" SS/Syn Left Port - 26" Barrel, 1 Round, Synthetic, Fixed Stock

2nd Savage LRPV and as they advertise, we'll made. However, the barrel has about 6 chemical induced marks on it. Nothing yet from Savage on how they can be removed. These marks cannot interfere with the shooting as they are surface marks. Just not pretty. Buds did an admiral job of notification and shipping. The LRPV feature of right bolt and left side extraction was very useful as well. All in all, great product at a reasonable price.

This Savage 6mm BR Rifle is Extremely Accurate. I have shot many 5 shot groups into a half inch, or smaller at 100 Yards. My rifle has an old Leupold 36x target scope on it with a small dot reticle. This target rifle really likes Lapua brass, CCI primers and Norma 105 grain bullets, with the bullets set out to just lightly touch the rifling. The trigger easily adjusts to under a pound of pull weight. If you enjoy shooting small groups, try one of these on for size... You will be happy that you did.

Fantastic barrel that can hang with the custom rigs if one does their part with quality re-loads. I have another 6br (a custom build) with the same RBLP Savage action w/ 12 twist Shillen barrel & there isn't much appreciable difference in accuracy twixt the two. I use this LRPV stick for factory class egg shoots at 220 yds. Just grab some Lapua brass, a dollop of Varget and a 69 - 100ish grain bullet & this has been doing better than 1/2" MOA all day long. I can't speak to factory ammo as I've never shot any. I have another LRPV in 22-250 that is also a 'shooter' but more finicky, and more of a 3/4" MOA shooter. It's hard to beat the inherent accuracy of the 6BR!

Took me a year and a half to find the problem with this rifle. Every scope I put on this rifle, the point of impact was so far left I could not adjust to center of target. Im sending back to savage so i’ll See how the customer service is. 3 stars for now.

Earlier this year I purchased a Savage LRPV in 6BR caliber. Excellent pricing and very prompt shipping.

I've had limited time with the gun, but the first 3 shot groups shot at 300 yards with factory ammo have all been under 1.5" center to center. Couldn't be happier! Can't wait till the reloading dies arrive and I get a chance with load development.

Great out of the box shooter. Had great groups with just my first day test loads. Can't wait to break this in. First gun from Bud's and pleased with every thing.
