The Remington Firearms 1100 200th Anniversary shotgun has a standard trigger, crossbolt safety, and a 28" barrel. The matte black receiver is chambered for 3" 12-gauge shells with a 4 plus 1 capacity. Along with an C-grade walnut wood stock, the 1100 has a vent rib barrel with twin bead sights.

I got on Bud’s waiting list for this Remington 200Th year Anniversary 1100, it took about six months for them to notify me that they had one by Email and about 3 minutes for me to purchase it, I had it shipped to my closest Buds & I’m one happy camper I did, there was one very very small blemish that I had to really had look hard to find & the store manager went above & beyond to worked with me and now it’s hanging on my wall and One of my more prize firearms! Thank you Bud’s for going the extra mile for me!!!

Remington 200TH YEAR ANV 1100 12G 28IN What can I say, a shotgun with a big history from back in the 1970s one of the best shotguns a hunter could ever owned. I have 6 of them from my grandfather and they are dated ll the way back in 70s either 2-3/4 all the way to the legendary 1100 Magnum(3 inch) I have hunted with them since I was 8 years old any type of game in every condition sunny, cold, rainy, always the best results. This specific model I bought because its one of a kind and it really looks great and all the details are incredible. it will be a shotgun to show only. I know my grand father would be proud to own one like this as well.!!!

Was told this gun was “new in box” shipping directly from Remington. After immediate payment, I waited over a month to finally receive my firearm. I sent a few emails to check on the status of my gun, but received no reply. I finally called, spoke with someone who just him-hawed around, offering no explanation of th delay. One I finally received the gun, it had three long scratches in the finish of the forend and just simply lacked the luster I knew it should have. The gun was clearly handled less than delicately, probably even fired. I’m not sure who’s to blame for the poor condition of this gun, but the fault will rest with Bud’s due to the poor communication and deceptive description. I will not be buying from these guys again.

I purchased this gun as a surprise gift for my father's 60th birthday. I don't know much about guns but I did a lot of homework before making a final decision. After countless hours I came across the Remington line and checked out their website. Right away I knew that the 200th Year Anniversary - line will be the version of a gun I will be getting him. When I got the notification that my shipment was received by my local firearm dealer, I called him right away to confirm. His response was "Sorry man, I can't give you the gun." I asked why, he replied, " Holy F*ING Mackerel - this gun is absolutely amazing!". Right away I knew I made the right choice knowing that a man who has been in the business for a very long time praised this gun, its carved out details, the gold additions, and the quality of the wood finish. After hearing his reaction, I couldn't be more excited to pick it up and give it to my dad, last weekend. The gun itself is a beauty to look at and hold. The glossy finish, the heavier weight feels very sturdy and "good" in hands. In addition, we were extremely surprised that the gun has no recoil. In fact, my father has another shotgun, 20 gauge, that actually leaves a bruise on his shoulder if he doesn't hold it properly. We shot the 1100 model a few times and there was no jerk, pushing, or pain - nothing. Anyway, I hope this review helps anyone with their decision. It is an amazing gift - and I couldn't be more satisfied with Bud'z pricing, shipment, and quality of this Remington gun.

This is an excellent firearm. Buds had the best price and was so easy to work with. The wood is beautiful and it points just where you think it should. Its is great to look at and even better to shoot. This was a gift for my father from the family as a combined Christmas/retirement gift. He always wanted a special edition 1100 and he couldn't be happier with it. The quality of this gun ensures he will be able to use it and pass it along to his grand children when it is time.
