Ruger 5437 LCR LCRx Single/Double 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) 3" 6 rd Black Hogue Tamer Monogrip Grip Black Ruger's LCR is a lightweight, small-frame revolver with a uniquely smooth trigger and highly manageable recoil. It features a monolithic frame with a grip peg allowing for use of a variety of grip styles, and an extensively fluted, high-strength stainless steel cylinder with a PVD finish for excellent durability. Ruger .22 mag LCRX is reliable and fairly accurate. Lightweight is a big plus. Sights are adequate although would like to see a Hi-Vis type sight on the front. Trigger pull in double action is too hard for a rimfire as my Wife struggled with it at first. If Ruger smoothed out and lighted the trigger and changed out the front sight, this would be 5 stars. I have the LCRX in .38 and the trigger is great. Understand that rimfires need a harder hit for the primer but it is way too much of a trigger pull in double action.

I have been looking for a LCRX 3" 22WMR for some time. Bud's notified me that one was available and I immediately made the purchase. Received my order in about a week. Fit and finish was everything I expected I am extremely satisfied with my purchase experience.

Outstanding little revolver. I believe the .22 Mag is an underrated round and with the 3” barrel I was making small groups on the target from 25 feet! Buds did a great job of processing and quick long delivering the gun too.

This double action trigger is heavier than any other DA trigger in any SA/DA revolver that I own in centerfire calibers. In single action it is manageable. I will look for a smith to lighten the pull, and if it's not possible I will sell it. Functions 100%. Nice grip. Typical Ruger - well built.

Highly recommend for anyone who wants a lightweight revolver but wants something with a little more power than .22lr but is recoil sensitive, buy the Ruger LCRx in.22WMR (.22 magnum). The LCR is a double action only which means a long tigger pull. The Ruger LCRx has an exposed hammer that allows for a short trigger pull and a more accurate one if you pull the hammer back. The .22 magnum revolver has a three inch long barrel but is small and light recoiling but with velocities of near 2,000 per second than the approximately 1,100 feet per second for the average.22lr depending on which ammunition you use. This puts the little Ruger into a good little backup gun position with more stopping power. It is designed for limited defense. A .38 special revolver is better but recoils harder.

48 rounds of CCI 30 grain t-n-t so far. No misfires. Trigger is a hard pull but I'm looking forward to learning it. I still think polymer on a revolver is weird. Oh well, the way things go. Not a deal breaker. Great shooter. You won't go wrong with this one

The LCRx in WMR is my first handgun. It is a terrific beginner gun. As a revolver, no jamming to deal with. The construction and materials are high quality. The double/single action is a nice feature. The white dot sight is easy to learn with. Ammo is very affordable. I like the handle - well sized. No "rimfire" type firing failures after in first 100 rounds. The 3 inch barrel makes better use of the mag round energy than the snub nose models. Although self-defense stopping power is light, CCI has a 30 grain full jacket hollow point ammo which has relatively high foot/lbs of force (over 325?). Ruger has a excellent video on their website on how to clean the gun and cleaning is easy.
The only negatives are that the trigger pull is heavy (both in single and double action) and the ejection rod is short (does not fully push out the shells),
