I heard and reviewed quite a bit of info and videos on this rifle which is why I ordered one, I have to say that I was quite disappointed in its accuracy though. Ive owned a few CVA blackpowder rifles and all have been great shooters when finding the right load for each gun, this plains rifle was the only one that I personally just couldnt get tuned to shoot worth a darn! No problem with misfires or getting it to shoot on paper but just not consistant grouping. I have one of the older Apex rifles which is basically the same gun and it drives tack every time. Love it, just not this one!

Great quality ... extremely accurate ... super balanced ... the Bergara barrels are awesome. This is my second I also have the MR. Great choice I have owned a variety of makes this by far is my favorite. Buds gave Great service and price I will certainly use them for future purchases !

What a great muzzleloader the quality is outstanding and the precision is unbelievable. Buds guns price was the best I could find.

I have only about this muzzleloader a handful of times while sighting in. That being said it seems very sturdy, has nice finishes, and was held its accuracy very nicely so far. The trigger is great. Highly recommend CVA and Budsgunshop. They were awesome as well. Recieved my purchase sooner than expected. And their double checking my order made me feel comfortable. Thanks

So I cant review the gun in too much detail as I have not had the chance to fire it, but shipment was very fast and looking at the rifle it is in perfect condition, as it should be being that it is brand new. Price was amazing, processing and shipment was fast and product is of great quality. What more can you ask for? Will definitely be doing business with buds again.

Highly recommend, finish and quality is what you would expect from a high quality muzzleloader. Only downfall that I can find is that the barrel on the plains rifle is drilled and tapped for a front sight, but not a rear sight. Only option for a rear is a williams ace in the hole rail and sight. . Just not sure why they would waste the time to put a hole for a front sight, and not a rear. One piece scope mount that’s included seams to be good quality. If your looking for a new muzzleloader, and only want to use a scope it’s the best option out there for the price. D
