What is the difference between .45 ACP and .45 AP? I read somewhere it only has to do with the specific company doesn’t want to acknowledge Colt but other Spingfield Armory 1911’s say they are .45 ACP and this one only says .45 AP.

This is an officer size frame with a 4" slide, thus the 6 round capacity. The Elite Champion is the full size grip/4" slide model.

It is a compact 1911 made by Springfield. Nice carry pistol.

This is a nice little pistol. Shot well. What I didn't like was the ambi safety, best I can figure the seatbelt in my truck would switch it off. When I put it away at night, I'd be like 'holy smoke, the safety is off'. This happened numerous times. Then I picked up a Dan Wesson ECO that does not have ambi safety, and the little Springfield went on to a new owner.
