I purchased this gun and once it arrived i took it out back and ran10 rounds with it. It was a nice smooth trigger pull and very accurate from about 20' and it shot flawlessly. I bought this as my carry gun as i have carried a 9mms for years and was balmy under certain clothing. I will still carry the 9 at times but i sure do love how light and easy to conceal this gun is. If you're looking for a pocket gun i would highly recommend this gun

I love this Taurus Spectrum! It is so small and light that I forget I am carrying it. It is accurate at the distance it is designed for, but I am going to paint the front sight with some florescent nail polish. I have fired about 100 rounds through it from 5 different manufacturers and it only had one stovepipe, which was with steel cased ammo, which I would never use as a defensive load.

PROS: *small, easily concealable *low price (also $35 Taurus rebate) *rounded design eliminates any catching on clothes while pocket carrying *many color combinations CONS: *had 2 "failure to feed" malfunctions in first two magazines *trigger is very long, heavy, and there's a full reset *sights are basically non-existent, so it's hard to be accurate In a self-defense situation where you need to use this pocket pistol, the sights and trigger won't really be an issue, but the malfunctions aren't exactly confidence inspiring. Hopefully, it's just a break-in thing.

I really like this gun so far, I have shot this gun around 200 rounds so far. It had a slight hiccup by failing to go fully into battery with the first mag, but I think it has something to do with break in. I since have cleaned and oiled it, and ran another 100 rounds of quality ammo with no issues at all., and ran about 100 rounds of cheap steel case Russian ammo thru it, which has hard primers, and had to pull the trigger twice or 3 times to get it to fire on about 5 rounds out of 100. I wouldnt use steel case except for practice ammo, use only QUALITY ammo for carry use. It has a long trigger pull similar to a double action revolver, which I prefer with a carry gun without a safety. The trigger felt a little gritty at first, but getting much better after 200 rounds. The sights are really low profile and fixed, and not painted, making the sight picture a challenge, I have already painted my rear sight bright red, and front sight bright yellow, and that made a world of difference. The accuracy is really good at 7 yards, after you get used to the break of the trigger. I have all confidence in this gun, and it will be my daily pocket carry pistol. I love the feel of the gun, it has no rough or sharp edges, the slide racks much easier than the Diamondback 380, but it is just slightly larger and a tad heavier. Thanks goes to Bud's for fast servce also.
