Ruger's Redhawk revolver features a triple-locking cylinder that is
locked into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for more positive
alignment and dependable operation. The single-spring mechanism allows
for a smooth, light trigger pull, while the patented transfer bar
mechanism provides an unparalleled measure of security. Its rugged
stainless steel construction with no side plates, is designed
specifically to handle powerful magnum loads through extra metal in top
strap, sidewalls and barrel mounting areas. The Redhawk also has dual
chambering and colored insert front blade sight and adjustable rear with
white outline.
This model has a stainless steel frame, 5.5" barrel, and cylinder. It
also has hardwood grip, accepts factory .38 Special cartridges and
includes three moon clips.

The 357 Redhawk I got had too much,what I call,"end shake",along with this goes too much barrel/cyl.gap. So,I refused it. All the other "things" that I look at when I purchase a revolver were correct.

I love the lines and the feel of the grip of the red hawk. The weight of this revolver makes the recoil very manageable.

wow just wow this revolver is beauty . Not a single flaw . The trigger is better than all my gp 100s which I love to begin with . Put on layaway day I paid it off shipped the very next day well done buds !

Love the capacity. Can fire heavier loaded 357 in this gun than in my S&w.

This thing is a brick and with 8 shots pretty nice. My friend and I debate Ruger v. S&W and I like them all. This is a handsome gun and enjoy shooting 357 with it and minimal recoil in 38 due to the heft. Get one.

WOW, this is a WOW gun!! Seriously, the first shot made me say, "WOW"! This is a 357 mag. and I expected the recoil to sting my bare hand, but not it did not. Especially with the wood handle I expected my hand to sting but not it did not. When purchasing this revolver I expected to have to put a Hogue rubber grip on to soften the recoil. No, I do not need to add a rubber grip. Before firing this revolver I thought I'd have to wear a glove, but no glove needed. My wife shot it without a glove and had not problem with the recoil. It is a great gun, accurate, easy to handle, and it uses moon clips. My wife and I really appreciate this revolver. Product rating: EXCELLENT! Bud's service was excellent!!

Phenomenal firearm. I was looking for a step up from a basic rubber grip revolver, and this thing is a beauty. I can't highly recommend this enough.
