Ruger GP100 357 Magnum 6" Blue Barrel, 6 Shot Revolver - Blue/Black, 6" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Rubber Grips, 3-Dot Sights

First time buying from buds, will again in the future. The pistol shoots great! However there were a couple issues with my revolver. The first thing I noticed was the grip was a little loose from the frame. No biggie except for the screw look had some chipping, again no biggie. The second thing I didn't notice until I took out my revolver to the range and was shooting left by about 7 inches at 7 yards away. Inspected the sights and the rear sight was way off center. Once again no biggie. That's why I give it 4 instead of 5.

ordered the pistol for my wife. She’s developed an affection for revolvers. The GP 100 was the perfect choice. I have an affection for Ruger so the choice was an easy one. It has a six inch barrel to help with the recoil. The single action leaves a light trigger for shooting consistent pattern. The double action is a little heavy but there is a noticeable sweet spot almost at the end of the hammer sweep to pause verify and squeeze. Very smooth action. She’s shooting tight patterns right out of the box. Excellent purchase and thanks to Buds for getting the pistol to my FFL very quickly. Three days. Couldn’t ask for a better buying experience!

My first revolver and I love it so far. It feels good in my hand. Recoil is not too bad when using 357 mag. Gun as a good weight and feels well made.

I really like this revolver. It's big enough and heavy enough to give you manageable recoil, even with .357 Magnum ammo. I've shot about 400 rounds with it, using .38 Special, +P, and .357 Magnum. Even with that last, muzzle-flip was minimal. The gun’s weight and large rubber grip make it easier to deliver fast follow-ups.

I grew up believing that Smith and Wessons are better built than Rugers. In the 70s, that might have been true. This weapon, however, is the equal in quality to any Smith I have ever handled. The trigger is smooth- not Colt Python smooth, but close. Single action is a little heavier than the one on a Smith, but its double action pull is superior. I am going to scope it using a Wiegand picatinny mount. While shopping, I was afraid that this item was overpriced. I have not fired it yet, but now that I have handled it, I am surprised that they can afford to sell it this cheap. It's that good. Bud's is great to work with. 90 day layaway is better than financing because there is a small fee instead of 20% interest.

Great revolver!!! Just what I wanted!!!

A great firearm to add to the collection! It feels good and shoots even better! My wife even loved shooting it! Only shot 38 special out of it so recoil was almost non-existent. It shipped very fast and I got it on sale! Very happy!
