From my research of Taurus this particular handgun does not come equipped with a Picatinny rail. Using the UPC code listed, I could not find any reference to this gun on the Taurus web site. Using the model # (1-917041-17) on Bud's for this gun listed as out of production on the Taurus web site. It is somewhat confusing but the image on Bud's is the same as the factory's web site image. Unless you are dead set on a hammer fired Taurus, I would suggest that you take a look at the Taurus PT111 G2 Millennium striker fired pistol. It has an excellent trigger and is nearly as good as the much higher priced Walter PPQ. I own both and although the PPQ probably has one if not the best factory produced triggers, the G2 is a very close at a significantly lower price point,.

I don't believe it does.Google Image shows it without and I can't even confirm via Taurus website, because there are no pictures of it.

Came packed in the old style Taurus black and white cardboard box w/ gun lock and spare 17 rd. mag. Packed with heavy grease that had to be cleaned off, but kept the gun in excellent shape from the manufacturer. Almost smelled like cosmoline. Was surprised to learn that these guns are 2017 production, even though they are not in Taurus's current catalog or website inventory. Pleasant surprise 1# - it does -not- have the Taurus safety system. Loved that. Pleasant surprise 2, the gun that was shipped to me was a non-railed version, which is actually what I wanted in the first place. The site has sense updated the item picture. Shipping was within 2 days, Buds never fails to disappoint. Time to swap on some better grips and add a new cold weather carry gun to the mix.

Thank you again Buds! I have purchased other guns in the past and again the service was professional and friendly! My purchase arrived at my FFL in only a few days after purchase in excellent condition. Once I stripped it down and "de-greased" , it performed flawlessly running about 200 rounds of factory 115 gr ammo. I recommend Buds to anyone and will continue to use their service in the future!
