Springfield Armory 1911-A1 TRP 10MM 6 8RD - Stainless/Silver, 6" Barrel, 8 Rounds, Composite Grips

This gun is awesome and beautiful. This gun runs perfect on Double Tap, Underwood and buffalo bore. It does struggle on the very cheap range ammo. It is a very soft shooter even with full house 200 grains round. Did I mention how beautiful it is?

This has been the second firearm that I have purchased from Bud's and I must say that I will be back for more in the future. Now let's talk about the Springfield 1911 TRP RMR Longslide... This gun is stout, I'm not going to lie, its a brick house. The ergonomics are just what you would expect in a 1911 platform. I love the posilock checkering on the front grip and backstrap (it looks and feels like a sharp golf ball pattern). The fit and finish on this postal are superb! The tolerances are tight but buttery smooth. It came pre-lubed and she was "moister than an oyster", the factory went a little overboard with the gun oil. Now lets talk about the performance... The gun functioned flawlessly with multiple brands and loads of ammunition. Didn't matter what I put in the magazine, she gobbled it all. This thing is an absolute tac driver even out to 50 yds the RMR really give you the added ability to stretch out this pistol's legs. I would recomend purchasing the model equipped with either the 3.5 MOA or the 6.0 MOA dot. My pistol came equipped with the 1.0 MOA dot and it translates every movement of the hand while ADS into exaggerated movement of the dot. But I'm certain that with practice this can be overcome. What can I say? This pistol is nearly perfect. It's everything I expected and more. It runs without flaw. The fit and finish are excellent and the trigger is as good or better than any Geisselle I have on my ARs. The only thing I might do is Cerakote it in a more attractive color. Springfield knocked it out of the park and Bud's has serviced my order expeditiously. No reason to buy anywhere else.

Second Springfield TRP I bought from Bud's. Once again, excellent service from Buds! The TRP RMR was very tight from the factory. Disassembled, cleaned and lubed. Off to the range with 100 rounds of factory Magtech 180gr FMJ. Loaded 5 rounds in each mag. Immediate failure, slide didn't go fully into battery. Corrected and emptied mag. Unbelievable accuracy right out of the box. Trijicon RMR needed very slight adjustment. Second mag same failure into battery. Corrected and emptied mag with no issues. Decided to re-lube the pistol and mags with liberal amounts of Lucas gun oil. After 20 rounds, no more failures with the remaining 80 rounds. My other TRP Operator had no failures ever but this one seemed a bit tighter from the factory. Pistol is truly amazing. Once broken in it is flawless. Extremely comfortable to shoot with the factory furniture. Bud's gave me very fair value for my trades which my local dealers didn't even want to make an offer. Not sure what to get next as these Springfield's are darn near perfect, but a bit pricey. We'll see how it does with reloads but I don't expect any issues. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

Purchased the Springfield 911-A1 TRP 10MM. Bud's had the best price and the gun was in my hands by the end of the week. The gun shoots great and the recoil is much less than expected likely due to the long slide. Beaming!

Just got this pistol two weeks ago and all I can says is WOW !. I have avoided anything other than .45 and can say that I now have two favorite pistol cartridges. So far I have run about two hundred rounds through this TRP and not one issue . Even with my old eyes this pistol has tighten my groups up . Took some saving and cutting corners for a 1800 hundred dollar pistol but it was well worth the effort . Thanks Bud.

I've got to start off thanking Buds great service fast shipping. This is my first TRP. The fit an finish are superb now that I've ran approx 500rds of various makes of 10mm. The only problems I countered was with the PMC 200gr ball it would not camber, every other band ran flawless not one failure to feed or extract. Accuracy, wonderful. I did however have a problem with the RMR it broke on the second mag.. It would not retain zero. I've sense replaced it with my spare RMR. Thanks again Buds.
