• Q: Can you see iron sights with red dot mounted? Is the Vortex hard to zero and is it rugged to withstand heavy recoil?

  Joseph, the Front Sight are barely noticeable when your eye focuses on the Red Dot. The Vortex is rugged and holds up without issue on my Glock 40 10mm MOS. The Canik will have very light recoil. The Vortex holds zero great and is a snap to get sighted in. Close and medium range targets out to 100 yards are possible very easily.

  Joseph, my Canik Elite was good enough "As Is" that I did not feel the need to upgrade. The TP9SFx is my next acquisition and I have no doubt it will be the same out the box. I actually own 5 different Caniks and you cannot beat what you get for the price point. The button click lock holster have virtually no resistance when drawing but lock in nice and securely.
• Q: How is the accuracy with iron sights or do you just use reflex sight? Also want a good holster for M&P9, G19, and Canik using the TLR-1? Also looking at Tactical Elite with red dot, any suggestions?

  Joseph, Accuracy with the Iron's is excellent. I actually shoot it better than my Glock's Iron for Iron. I use the Iron Sights half the time and the Red Dot the other half. The Red Dot gives you much faster target acquisition and definitely has more sight/point of impact repeatability compared to the Iron Sights. The Canik's come with decent Holsters already.
