This is my favorite gun it's better than any other pistol accurate with all of the tactical upgrades. Reliable thousands around never an issue it's my daily carry I love this gun.

Absolutely no complaints - fit & finish, function, trigger - all work so well.
I bought it to add optics which I haven't yet purchased so the factory sights weren't of much consequence but they're reasonable.
You do have to look hard to find the designation on the longer mag that says +3 but it's there.
I look forward to taking a pistol familiarity class with this pistol with decent optics.

The pistol looks great, however, the screws on the optic ready plate will strip out in a minute and then you will be without this gun for awhile. No I would not reccomend this to a friend.

I ordered this firearm and i cannot tell you how pleased I am with it and also the fast service in receiving this firearm. I have always been a Glock Chick with owning Glocks and them being the best overall - safety features, reliability, etc and owning them for well over 20 years. However, I had been researching various pistols for over a year with what I THOUGHT I wanted, but something just didn't "seem" right for me. So, on a whim, I sought out researching the Canik (one of the pistols I had been looking at has been the SAR9 of which is also a Turkish pistol) At any rate, I came across the Combat Elite Canik (was holding out solely for the one that had the Viper Red Dot) At any rate, I started rethinking having the Viper Red Dot (prefer green dot anyway), plus availability of which I found exactly the model I wanted but just without the Viper Red Dot. I ordered it and it arrived in a short period of time of which delighted me. This is the first time I have ever ordered a firearm without trying it first. So, I took a chance (but I did have a buddy who said he would buy it if I was not happy with it). At any rate, straight out of the "box" I was so pleased with it. Very smooth trigger pull, smooth and all else.. To say I love it is an understatement. I am beyond pleased with it. The ONLY downside is the holster - right handed and I am left-handed - so been trying to find a secure sturdy holster for it for EDC. My buddy did tell me (since he is in the sporting business and sells firearms as well, plus former law enforcement) that holsters would be hard to find for it. I did find where could purchase a couple of extra mags for it, too, of which I was also told are hard to come by. But other than that, I am so very pleased with this pistol on so many levels. Listen if you wanted a glock, don’t just buy this, you have way more options right out of the box for cheaper price, it has upgraded metal sights that you can take off, glock has that cheap plastic, fixed sights. Trigger is way better, faster reset, patent pending, than glock. Comes with a great holster, it’s open carry though. Wanted a concealed holster but you can find that online. Overall, very accurate out of the box. Feels beautiful in the hand, I thought it was going to be heavy, it’s a lot lighter than my other carry I have. This weapons price is going to continue to climb, so get it now.

It was between this and a Sig P320 X Carry. I really liked the look and feel of both. Went into a local shop to feel which felt best in my hands. The Canik felt just a smidge better. I’m glad I went with the Canik. Based off just that smidge and the nice Salient Arms upgrades included I couldn’t be any happier. Gun shoots far better than my other pistols and is my EDC. I’ve added a Vortex Venom red dot and it’s only got better. This is my second purchase from Buds and I have not been disappointed. Easy to buy, fast shipping and all was in great condition. Just purchased my 4th firearm from Buds today can’t wait till that comes in to add it to the collection.

I decided to buy this particular firearm after reading many reviews and watching video reviews, where some professional shooter have compared it to the Glock 19. It has the look of Sig Sauer’s P226 or the new M17 Army pistol. I saw that Salient Arms added their high end touch to the barrel and mag weld, as well as a few other parts. There are some great features with a very nice price point. Can’t wait to go hot with it. Will update soon
