Is this gun a trigger or thumb safety?

There Is no manual thumb safety on this model. Only a Trigger safety.

Can you switch from a right-handed shooter, to a left-handed shooter just by passing the pistol from one shooter to another?

To go lefty, you'd want to switch the mag release over to the right side. This will require a lil disassembly on your part or a qualified gunsmith, if you're not comfortable making the switch.

Is this CA* limited or just the clip is 10rds? Am i able to use the loneger capacity mags?

Ronnie, just the Magazine Sir is 10rd. Most manufacturers including CZ make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine.

just the mag is restricted (altered ) to only hold ten rounds the gun is the same and will take the full capacity mags with no issues

Yes, you can use longer capacity magazines. This firearm is exactly like the regular version, only the magazine is different for capacity restricted states. Hope this helps.

Ted Thomas, This firearm is not listed on MD approved roster. Too new. MD has not added any handguns to its approved roster in years and has removed several.

Matt, yes Sir. the 10rd and 19rd Magazines are the same physical size with the 10rd Mag having an internal block so it can be sold in capacity restricted States. No worries with fit and function of the 19rd or +2 21rd Magazines.

Hi Matt, You can use any capacity without issue. Most magazines are just blocked for 10 rounds to make state compliant. I love this firearm and used to be one of my favs.
