Henry Single-Shot Youth .243 Win Rifle - 22" Barrel, 1 Round, Wood, Walnut Stock

Henry 243 Youth: I bought this for my wife to match her size. I picked 243 for low recoil and reputation as a deer slayer. With a slip on recoil pad, it fits me too. It is a beautiful, well made quality weapon. I love it. My only complaint, even with MFGs scope mount, have a hard time getting scope to clear the hammer. I ended up with a Henry picitany rail and high mount rings. It worked, but then scope is too high for the ergonomics of a traditional hunting style rifle. But, it is an awesome iron sight rifle. Accuracy: no fancy data here, but, using over the counter Barnes 180 grain solid copper ammo, I can hit a tennis ball at 125 yarda from a climbing treestand.
