8.6 pounds seems like a very heavy weight for a rifle of this type. Does that figure refer to the shipping weight or something, or is this thing really 8.6 pounds?

I just want to know if this gun is the same as this one 20rnd version or is this gun pinned or modified to only accept 10rnd mags? I live in a non restricted state so what to know if this gun is some kind of compliant version. I want to know if I can use 30rnd mags, stocks or whatever with this gun? And btw anyone know the thread pitch as I suppress all my guns.

Glen, yes Sir it is. Most manufacturers including H&K make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their firearms can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The firearms are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The firearms will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine. Thread Pattern is 1/2-28 tpi.

I would be able to use this after changing the stock and if it had a 16" NON-threaded barrel.Does anybody sell a 16" non-threaded replacement barrel that would work with this. Or an 18" barrel that I can just have a thread protector welded on to make it complaint would work as well. Obviously my gun shop would make all the modifications prior to me taking being able to take possession of the firearm.

Can you but an hk 416 22lr that would be nj compliant? No threaded barrel pistol grip 16 barrel etc
